An active TS/SCI clearance is required.\nResponsibilities\nManage physical security system support to meet service level agreements.\nConfigure and manage Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software.\nPerform desktop hardware and operating system set-up, imaging software loading, and antivirus updates.\nAnalyze security system infrastructure performance and recommend improvements.\nTroubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure components, along with implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.\nProvide detailed analysis and feedback to management and the client for escalated tickets.\nPerform IAVA updates and patching to ensure compliance with Information Assurance (IA) standards.\nApply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to Windows-based operating systems (servers and workstations).\nImplement and maintain sophisticated enterprise Windows Active Directory Architectures.\nPerform daily operations to include Active Directory management, monitoring, and reviewing system logs.\nConfigure and maintain virtual hypervisors to include VMware and Hypervisor.\nDeploy, configure, and maintain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platforms to include Citrix Xen Desktop.\nInstall, configure, and maintain 3rd party applications.\nInstall, configure, and maintain highly available SQL database Engines.\nDeploy and maintain storage platforms similar to Dell EqualLogic and Dell Powervault.\nAnalyze requirements of future deployments and make recommendations for IT infrastructure, including all hardware and software required to fulfill those requirements.\nPerform root cause analysis on significant issues across all tiers of support.\nPerform preventive maintenance actions including system back-ups, error log reviews, database size analysis, and integrity checks.\nDevelop new system and application implementation plans to include testing procedures and ensure operational reliability.\nStay current with technological developments and make recommendations for ways to take advantage of new and emerging technology.\nCreate technical documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOP) and as-builts for both technical and non-technical audiences.\nUp to 10% annual travel, CONUS and OCONUS locations.\nTrain system users and other system support personnel as needed.\nPerform all duties with minimal direct supervision.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nActive TS/SCI security clearance.\nEducation:Bachelor's Degree and 5+ Years of progressive experience, or\nAssociate's Degree and 8+ Years of progressive experience, or\nHS Diploma or Equivalent and 10+ Years of progressive experience.\n\nSystem administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving the system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, implementing new workstations, and system extensions.\n2+ years of experience programming/administrating Physical Access Control Systems.\nDemonstrated previous experience effectively managing small teams.\nDemonstrated understanding of Windows patching and vulnerability remediation.\nDemonstrated advanced knowledge of Windows Active Directory hierarchy and implementation.\nBasic knowledge of large-scale networking, VLANs, and routing.\nRequires reliable attendance at client site during work hours required by the client.\nRequires the ability to work flexible shifts that include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.\nRequires a minimum of Security + Certification, CASP, or CISSP certification.\nDemonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.\nDemonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.\nProficient in MS Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.\nGH 978\nFull-Time Employee Compensation\nM9 Solutions’ pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
