To learn more about our purpose, culture and priorities, visit our strategy site.\nWithin our business we harness our unique combination of leading-edge practical expertise and project delivery consultancy to unlock the potential in every project.\nThe Project: Provides overall leadership for a major capital project engagement for a global pharmaceutical client, directing all workstream leads, governing scope and schedule, managing the client relationship, and overseeing overall delivery outcomes.\nYou’ll Be Responsible For :\nCreates/designs effective implementation of Stakeholder Management framework(s)/strategy(s) on assigned commission(s).\n\nManages and directs clients, consultants, contractors and project team on assigned commission(s) on all relevant Stakeholder Management Service matters.\n\nPartners with clients to manage and meet expectations and build strong professional relationships.\n\nProvides comprehensive advice to the Project team in the administration of relevant Stakeholder & Communications standards, process and tools, including managing risks, issues and reporting to achieve key objectives and the escalation of performance and management issues.\n\nFacilitates and supports periodic reporting and structured governance and performance meetings.\n\nAccountable and responsible for developing functional management strategies, plans, processes and tools and tracking progress against KPIs.\n\nWorks with the Stakeholder & Communications Service Director and/or Project Manager to recognise actions, recognise opportunities and mitigate risks and issues.\n\nEnsures all activities/operations are carried out in line with Mace Control Centre, Client requirements and prevailing regulation, policy and legislation.\n\nProvides Line Management to more junior resources and other Project staff as required.\n\nUtilises expertise to mentor and assist the personal and career development of junior staff team members.\n\nLeads the integration of the function with all relevant disciplines.\n\nSupports the HUB Stakeholder & Communications and Project Controls Director with resourcing and recruitment for the assigned commission.\n\nWorks collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.\n\nYou’ll need to have\nProven leadership experience on complex construction projects\n\nExperience establishing functional management and assurance frameworks/strategies\n\nStrong knowledge of tools, techniques, and relevant software\n\nAbility to manage activities with high uncertainty in outcomes\n\nDemonstrates commercial awareness and supports business development and bids\n\nStrong communication, engagement, and influencing skills\n\nLeadership skills with the ability to guide and influence others.\n\nSkilled in managing challenging relationships while achieving positive outcomes\n\nResilient and composed in difficult situations, clients, and environments\n\n5 years’ experience in Stakeholder & Communications delivery within construction or consultancy (desirable)\n\nOur values\nSafety first - Going home safe and well: We champion a safe, diverse and inclusive working environment, understanding the importance of wellbeing in every team.\nClient focus - Deliver on our promise: We own the quality of deliverables, strategic outcomes and build long term relationships with our clients.\nIntegrity - Always do the right thing: We influence positive outcomes within our industry, while always aligning with our compliance obligations.\nCreate opportunity - For our people to excel: We champion a continuous improvement culture throughout all activities, inspiring our people and teams to develop.\nMace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
