Drives transformational change.\n\nManages, influences & negotiates with key senior stakeholders (c-suite & board) on matters of strategic importance.\n\nConversion of the clients vision into a deliverable plan that includes and exploits the full benefits of Construction to Production (C2P), Net Zero Carbon, and Digital & Data innovation.\n\nResponsible for improving performance from bid baseline through optimisation of resources, monitors, reviews and evaluates activities, systems and methodologies.\n\nRelationship owner and primary contact for Executive team engagement. Responsible for ensuring efficient governance to support project activities, gains organisational support and commitment, ensures the achievement of strategic priorities.\n\nCreates and nurtures a high-performing and inclusive team environment that encourages contribution and recognition.\n\nEngenders, promotes and influences quality and Service Excellence in all conversations and project interactions.\n\nEnsures operations are fiscally and ethically viable, influencing the achievement of business objectives and meeting organisational and legislative compliance obligations.\n\nWorks collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.\n\nYou’ll Need To Have:\nDetailed knowledge of construction processes, project methodologies, and safety-critical elements.\n\nStrong expertise in digital platforms, acting as a leading voice in their implementation and use.\n\nIn-depth understanding of legislation, regulations, and industry standards, with the ability to lead their implementation.\n\nProven experience in construction management, delivering small to medium-sized projects successfully.\n\nStrong communication, presentation, and project planning skills.\n\nDeveloped expertise in budget management and financial oversight.\n\nSolid financial and legal knowledge relevant to the role.\n\nSets high standards for site operations, fostering a culture that meets and exceeds company and contract expectations.\n\nProactive in adopting industry technological advancements to drive efficiencies.\n\nProvides clear leadership across site operations, challenging existing practices to drive continuous improvement.\n\nDefines and manages team structures, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.\n\nDemonstrates strong leadership presence onsite, understanding influence and accountability.\n\nAdaptable and resilient, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and prioritize critical activities.\n\nDegree, NVQ, or HNC in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent).\n\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a site-based leadership role (or equivalent).\n\nSMSTS certification and a valid Managerial/Professional CSCS card.(derisable)\n\nNote: The estimated salary for this position is 230,000 - 320,000 CAD.
