To learn more about our purpose, culture, and priorities, visit our strategy site.\nWithin our consult business we harness our unique combination of leading-edge practical expertise and project delivery consultancy to unlock the potential in every project.\nOur Values:\nSafety first - Going home safe and well\nClient focus - Deliver on our promise\nIntegrity - Always do the right thing\nCreate opportunity - for our people to excel\nYou'll Be Responsible For:\nOversees project timeframes and project budgets, and ensures budgets are managed diligently and highlights any risks, challenges and mitigations.\n\nOn behalf of external/third-party clients oversee the project management of the project/s on an individual and team basis from inception to post-completion.\n\nEnsures the successful delivery of the project in line with all stakeholders’ expectations communicating strategies to the wider client/ consultant/contractor team.\n\nPromotes Mace's value of Safety First, exhibiting visible safety behaviours, sharing lessons learned and using safety moments and Mace's HSW framework.\n\nSupports the safety and wellbeing of all Mace staff.\n\nProvides subject matter expertise and guidance to support the success of the broader Mace projects.\n\nOversees management of the client and consultant team and all external/project stakeholders to ensure effective completion of the project in line with client expectations.\n\nProduces design and authorities programme to be integrated with procurement and delivery programme.\n\nManages the timely delivery to programme from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.\n\nManages the timely sequencing/methodology and production of staging plans.\n\nPerforms two to five of the following non-project related roles; such as business reporting, pipeline management, bidding, business development, resourcing, commercial strategy & maximising our commercial position, managing Mace contract, contract extensions, cross-selling, invoicing, debt collection and P&L responsibility and other as directed by the Senior Leadership Team.\n\nAligns to strategy to place construction to production, digital and data, service excellence, quality, assurance and sustainability at the heart of our delivery.\n\nPartners with multiple internal and external stakeholders, working in collaboration to (implement strategy/programmes/initiatives).\n\nManages, influences & negotiates with key senior external stakeholders (up to c-suite).\n\nYou’ll Need To Have:\n10+ years of experience in project management, managing small to medium/large sized projects.\n\nDeveloping budgetary oversight expertise.\n\nDeveloping proficiency in coordinating activities and collaborating with stakeholders.\n\nProven understanding of project management methodologies and practices.\n\nProven problem solving and analytical skills across estimating, scheduling, contracts administration, procurement, financial controls and reporting for planning, estimating, contract administration and procurement issues for various procedural, construction and design activities.\n\nEnsure project risks are effectively identified, mitigated and managed, including the proactive management of the early warning process.\n\nDeveloping bidding, business development and/or account growth capabilities.\n\nStrong commercial and financial skills and an ability to build up fee proposals and oversee project workbooks.\n\nProficient knowledge and expertise in specific industry of project/role.\n\nRelevant technical qualification/certification for project portfolio/s.\n\nSound technical expertise in Health and Safety Executive (HSE) (or local equivalent) rules and regulations relevant to project portfolio.\n\nDeveloping a reputation across the relevant sector / market and operating at the highest level of compliance.\n\nMace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
