To learn more about our purpose, culture, and priorities, visit our strategy site.\nWithin our consult business we harness our unique combination of leading-edge practical expertise and project delivery consultancy to unlock the potential in every project.\nOur Values:\nSafety first - Going home safe and well\nClient focus - Deliver on our promise\nIntegrity - Always do the right thing\nCreate opportunity - for our people to excel\nYou'll Be Responsible For:\nEnsure compliance with all requirements related to federal grant programs, including FRA Circular 5010.1E, Common Rules (2 CFR 200), and FTA’s Capital\n\nResearch and review grant guidelines and circulars; prepare concise information for GDC, comparing grant program requirements with GDC and HTP policies and procedures, and recommend revisions as needed.\n\nSupport GDC with federal and state audits, including collection, preparation, and organization of requested materials, and tracking audit requests and processes.\n\nInterface with GDC’s technical, financial, and administrative offices for the review of materials necessary for meeting FTA’s Triennial Review.\n\nUpdate GDC’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for compliance with federal grant regulations and requirements.\n\nConduct mock audits measuring GDC’s compliance with requirements related to federal grant programs, ensuring audits are performed by qualified firms.\n\nAdminister, document, and report on grants and federal funding received through various USDOT programs.\n\nServe as the primary liaison between GDC, Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and Program Management Oversight consultant (PMOC) to ensure compliance and support grant activities.\n\nLead program and project meetings by preparing materials, documenting outcomes, and ensuring compliance with federal oversight requirements.\n\nRecord and report financial data and track any other data required for administration of the relevant grant program.\n\nSupport GDC’s financial team in preparing required reporting obligations to funding partners and USDOT, and review requisitions for grant eligibility and drawdown submissions for reimbursement.\n\nAssist with pre-award activities, including grant proposals, preparation, completion, and submittal of grant agreements and discretionary applications.\n\nApply for, obligate, and close out grant awards issued under USDOT, primarily FTA and FRA.\n\nManage grant administration activities, including completion, collection, and organization of quarterly and/or monthly reporting.\n\nPrepare schedules for HTP milestones and track progress against approved schedules; maintain schedules and track delays and delay justifications for the project.\n\nLead coordination efforts to address information requests, ensuring timely and quality responses by engaging key stakeholders across the GDC organization.\n\nYou’ll Need To Have:\nBachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, Business, or related field.\n\n5+ years of experience in grant compliance, administration, or management for large infrastructure or transportation projects.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of federal grant regulations, including FTA, FRA, and USDOT requirements.\n\nExperience with audit preparation, grant reporting, and documentation.\n\nStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.\n\nProficiency with project management information systems (PMIS), financial reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.\n\nExperience with federally funded projects and public sector grant management.\n\nFamiliarity with capital investment grants, triennial reviews, and compliance audits.\n\nUnderstanding of project controls, scheduling, and milestone tracking.\n\nNote: The estimated salary for this position is $175K.
