A milestone project supported by the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the project is slated to receive nearly $12 billion in federal funding, the largest investment in a mass transit project in modern history.\nOur values shape the way we consult, and define the people we want to join us on our journey, they are:\nSafety First - Going Home Safe and Well.\n\nClient Focus - Deliver on Our Promise.\n\nIntegrity - Always Do the Right Thing.\n\nCreate Opportunity - For Our People to Excel.\n\nYou’ll Be Responsible For:\nParticipate in the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects, office and field engineering assignments including review of plans, schedules, contracts, procedures, and construction methods.\n\nRepresent the Construction Management team during Daily Construction Meetings with the Contractor.\n\nSupport Senior CM Staff with technical input.\n\nManage oversight review of the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) design, fabrication, and operation during tunneling.\n\nManage oversight review of detail design, fabrication, delivery, and installation of precast concrete tunnel lining segments.\n\nCoordinate with the project team to ensure timely completion of tunneling works according to project specifications.\n\nMonitor tunneling progress, ground conditions, and excavation parameters.\n\nReview geotechnical and structural monitoring data.\n\nImplement safety protocols and quality control measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulations.\n\nPrepare progress reports, documentation, and reports on TBM operations.\n\nTroubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to challenges encountered during tunneling operations.\n\nCoordinate with the Outreach Team and Third Party Stakeholders.\n\nYou’ll need to have\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.\n\nProven experience working with Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs).\n\nTunneling experience, specifically in pressurized face TBM mining, precast concrete segmental lining, and cross passage construction.\n\nExcellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.\n\nUnderstanding of safety standards, regulations, and best practices in tunneling operations.\n\nStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.\n\nNote: The estimated starting salary for this position is $170k.
