To learn more about our purpose, culture and priorities, visit our strategy site.\nWithin our business we harness our unique combination of leading-edge practical expertise and project delivery consultancy to unlock the potential in every project.\nYou’ll Be Responsible For :\nAccountable for supporting the risk management performance and effective implementation of risk framework(s)/strategy(s).\n\nContributes to team performance, driving performance and results, whilst delivering performance management, technical development and coaching.\n\nBuilds strong professional relationships with Client/Client representative(s).\n\nProvides advice and support to Project team in the administration of the risk process, particularly with respect to the risks to achievement of key objectives and the escalation of risk(s).\n\nFacilitations and delivery of risk workshops.\n\nWorks with Project Manager to recognise opportunities and mitigations to minimise risk exposure.\n\nResponsible for supporting the risk management performance on their assigned commission(s).\n\nEffective implementation of risk framework(s)/strategy(s) on assigned commission(s).\n\nAccountable for ensuring risk mitigation action plans are developed, owners appointed and that project plans are updated and monitored.\n\nSupports the delivery of Project Quantitative Risk Analysis (cost and time).\n\nDelivers monthly risk reports, externally to Client and internally to Project team, contributing on the adequacy of contingency as part of the regular reporting cycle.\n\nEnsures all activities/operations are carried out in line with Mace Control Centre, Client requirements and prevailing legislation.\n\nActively engages in the integration of risk with PMO and Planning disciplines.\n\nSupports more junior risk managers and other Project staff as required.\n\nWorks collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.\n\nYou’ll need to have :\nExperience working on complex construction projects.\n\nKnowledge of project risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices.\n\nExperience supporting the delivery of risk management and assurance frameworks and strategies.\n\nProficiency in risk management tools and software, such as Active Risk Manager, riskHive, Primavera Risk Analyser, and Primavera P6.\n\nStrong communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills.\n\nAbility to develop and deliver clear, persuasive, and engaging presentations to clients and project teams.\n\nEffective networking and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary environments.\n\nAbility to coach and support project teams in risk management activities.\n\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage challenging behaviors and stakeholder relationships while achieving positive outcomes.\n\nResilience and professionalism when working in demanding project environments and with diverse personalities.\n\nDemonstrated commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery objectives.\n\nStrong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to assess and mitigate project risks.\n\n5 years of experience, or equivalent, supporting the delivery of project risk management services within the construction sector.\n\nOur values\nSafety first - Going home safe and well: We champion a safe, diverse and inclusive working environment, understanding the importance of wellbeing in every team.\nClient focus - Deliver on our promise: We own the quality of deliverables, strategic outcomes and build long term relationships with our clients.\nIntegrity - Always do the right thing: We influence positive outcomes within our industry, while always aligning with our compliance obligations.\nCreate opportunity - For our people to excel: We champion a continuous improvement culture throughout all activities, inspiring our people and teams to develop.\nMace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
