A milestone project supported by the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the project is slated to receive nearly $12 billion in federal funding, the largest investment in a mass transit project in modern history.\nOur values shape the way we consult, and define the people we want to join us on our journey, they are:\nSafety First - Going Home Safe and Well.\n\nClient Focus - Deliver on Our Promise.\n\nIntegrity - Always Do the Right Thing.\n\nCreate Opportunity - For Our People to Excel.\n\nYou’ll Be Responsible For:\nLead the design and review of bridge and structural components, ensuring compliance with project specifications, design standards, and regulatory requirements.\n\nAdvise on constructability, feasibility, value engineering, and sustainability for bridge structures.\n\nReview design documents, drawings, and specifications prepared by the Engineer of Record and contractors.\n\nEnsure integration of bridge designs with other project elements and packages.\n\nProvide technical support during construction, including oversight of bridge-related activities and resolution of field issues.\n\nReview contractor submittals, RFIs, and change orders related to bridge and structural work.\n\nMonitor progress against milestones and ensure timely completion of bridge construction activities.\n\nSupport implementation of quality management plans for bridge and structural works.\n\nConduct quality audits and inspections to confirm compliance with project and industry standards.\n\nVerify contractor compliance with testing and inspection plans, and review results for accuracy and completeness.\n\nMaintain systematic records of all testing, inspection, and acceptance activities for bridge structures.\n\nSupport schedule management and cost estimating for bridge-related activities.\n\nContribute to risk management by identifying potential structural risks and recommending mitigation strategies.\n\nPrepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and documentation for bridge and structural work.\n\nYou’ll need to have:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field.\n\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license required.\n\nMinimum 10 years of experience in bridge and structural engineering, with significant experience on large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects.\n\nExperience with federally funded projects and regulatory compliance is preferred.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of bridge design, analysis, and construction methods.\n\nProficiency with structural engineering software and design tools.\n\nExperience with quality assurance, testing, and inspection processes for bridge structures.\n\nStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.\nNote: The estimated starting salary for this position is $170k.
