The project involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, delivered rapidly through a hands-on construction management approach, ideal for those experienced in managing both main and subcontract packages.\nThe development includes complex utility infrastructure and networks, encompassing power, telecommunications, district cooling, water and wastewater systems, together with associated treatment and distribution facilities. The role is ideally suited to individuals with a strong background in major infrastructure programmes and utility-heavy developments.\nThe senior construction manager (electrical) will be responsible for overseeing the construction, installation, testing and commissioning of major utility and infrastructure packages across the project.\nThe successful candidate will provide technical leadership, construction oversight and stakeholder management throughout delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.\nYou’ll be responsible for:\nSupervise the construction delivery of electrical infrastructure and utility packages from mobilisation through to handover.\nManage contractors and subcontractors undertaking utility, power and infrastructure works.\nMonitor construction progress against programme and drive recovery plans where required.\nEnsure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, regulatory approvals and industry standards.\nCoordinate interfaces between utility providers, contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.\nOversee testing, commissioning and operational readiness activities.\nDrive health, safety and environmental performance across all work fronts.\nReview construction methodologies, temporary works proposals and installation sequencing.\nSupport risk identification, mitigation and resolution of site-related issues.\nProduce and present progress updates to senior project leadership.\nYou’ll need to have:\nA degree in electrical engineering.\nExtensive years of construction and infrastructure delivery experience.\nExperience in delivering different electrical infrastructure i.e., high-voltage and low-voltage power infrastructure, wet and dry utility networks, sewage treatment plants and district cooling plants and distribution networks\nStrong knowledge of health, safety, quality, and commissioning standards.\nNecessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.\nOur values\nSafety first - Going home safe and well: We champion a safe, diverse, and inclusive working environment, understanding the importance of well-being in every team.\nClient focus - Deliver on our promise: We own the quality of deliverables and strategic outcomes and build long-term relationships with our clients.\nIntegrity - Always do the right thing: We influence positive outcomes within our industry while always aligning with our compliance obligations.\nCreate opportunity - For our people to excel: We champion a continuous improvement culture throughout all activities, inspiring our people and teams to develop.\nMace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
