This role ensures that all contractual obligations are clearly defined, effectively managed, and aligned with project objectives, commercial requirements, and risk management strategies. The role also requires strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a thorough understanding of construction contracts.\nYou’ll be responsible for:\nDraft, review, negotiate, and administer construction contracts and amendments.\n\nManage contract compliance, obligations, risks, and change management processes.\n\nProvide contractual guidance to project and commercial teams.\n\nSupport claims management, dispute resolution, and contract close-out activities.\n\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.\n\nIdentify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nMonitor contract performance and ensure alignment with project objectives and governance requirements.\n\nYou’ll need to have:\nSignificant experience in construction contract management and contract drafting.\n\nStrong knowledge of industry-standard contracts (NEC, FIDIC, JCT, etc.).\n\nDemonstrated experience managing complex infrastructure, industrial, or commercial construction projects.\n\nExcellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.\n\nExperience in project controls is desirable but not essential\n\nOur values\nSafety first - Going home safe and well: We champion a safe, diverse and inclusive working environment, understanding the importance of wellbeing in every team.\nClient focus - Deliver on our promise: We own the quality of deliverables, strategic outcomes and build long term relationships with our clients.\nIntegrity - Always do the right thing: We influence positive outcomes within our industry, while always aligning with our compliance obligations.\nCreate opportunity - For our people to excel: We champion a continuous improvement culture throughout all activities, inspiring our people and teams to develop.\nMace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
