Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey.\nThe project: The opportunity is for a Project Controller to support a fast-moving work stream within the Engineering department in Sellafield.\nNote: The work will be office based 3 days per week within West Cumbria.\nYou’ll be responsible for:\nManaging a range of PMO and Project Controls performance on an assigned commissions under supervision and mentorship of more senior PMO, Project Controls or Project/Programme Management professionals assigned to that commission. \nDeveloping the effective implementation of PMO and Project Controls framework/strategy on assigned commissions.\nActively developing internal and external stakeholder relationships building strong professional relationships with Client/Client representatives.\nContributing to the preparation of monthly reports and the facilitation and delivery of performance reporting and reviews.\nRecommending and developing PMO and Project controls methodologies including EVM.\nManaging the integration of all PMO and Planning disciplines including Risk Management and Planning.\nImproving the alignment of all PMO and Project Controls activity to the Mace control centre, client requirements and other legislation.\nProviding comprehensive technical expertise in support of PMO and Project Controls performance. \nWorking collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.\nYou’ll need to have:\nExperience supporting the delivery of a range of PMO and Project Controls services.\nAPM Planning and Project Controls (PPC) Foundation and Practitioner.\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office products e.g. MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nWillingness to be part of a high performing team.\nArticulate and has potential to assimilate information quickly. \nAttention to detail.\nOur values\nSafety first - Going home safe and well: We champion a safe, diverse and inclusive working environment, understanding the importance of wellbeing in every team.\nClient focus - Deliver on our promise: We own the quality of deliverables, strategic outcomes and build long term relationships with our clients.\nIntegrity - Always do the right thing: We influence positive outcomes within our industry, while always aligning with our compliance obligations.\nCreate opportunity - For our people to excel: We champion a continuous improvement culture throughout all activities, inspiring our people and teams to develop.\nMace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
