To learn more about our purpose, culture and priorities, visit our strategy site.\nWithin our consult business, we harness our unique combination of leading-edge practical expertise and project delivery consultancy to unlock the potential in every project.\nThe Project: Manages and coordinates a range of PMO and Project Controls services to support designated projects within the PMO and Planning Centre of Excellence.\nYou’ll be responsible for:\nManages a range of PMO and Project Controls performance on a assigned commissions under supervision and mentorship of more senior PMO, Project Controls or Project/Programme Management professionals assigned to that commission.\n\nDevelops the effective implementation of PMO and Project Controls framework/strategy on assigned commissions.\n\nActively develops internal and external stakeholder relationships building strong professional relationships with Client/Client representatives.\n\nContributes to the preparation of monthly reports and the facilitation and delivery of performance reporting and reviews.\n\nRecommends and develops PMO and Project controls methodologies including EVM.\n\nManages the integration of all PMO and Planning disciplines including Risk Management and Planning.\n\nImproves the alignment of all PMO and Project Controls activity to the Mace Control Centre, Client requirements and other legislation.\n\nProvides comprehensive technical expertise in support of PMO and Project Controls performance.\n\nWorks collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.\n\nYou’ll need to have:\nRelevant university degree, e.g. construction, engineering or equivalent.\n\nExperience supporting the delivery of PMO and Project Controls services, with an understanding of the construction/delivery lifecycle and/or consultancy.\n\nKnowledge of PMO and Project Controls frameworks, strategies, methodologies and practices across relevant sectors such as rail, highways, nuclear, public sector or hospitals.\n\nGood knowledge of PMO and Project Controls tools and software, including MS Office, Power BI, Aconex, Primavera P6 and RiskHive.\n\nStrong communication, presentation, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to non-technical audiences.\n\nStrong attention to detail, collaboration and analytical skills, with an interest in data analytics and continuous improvement.\n\nAbility to contribute to high-performing teams, with strong networking skills and a flexible, pragmatic and resilient approach to challenging situations.\n\nAPM Planning and Project Controls (PPC) Foundation and Practitioner, with progress towards Chartered status and/or membership of a relevant professional institution considered advantageous.\n\nOur values\nSafety first - Going home safe and well: We champion a safe, diverse and inclusive working environment, understanding the importance of wellbeing in every team.\nClient focus - Deliver on our promise: We own the quality of deliverables, strategic outcomes and build long term relationships with our clients.\nIntegrity - Always do the right thing: We influence positive outcomes within our industry, while always aligning with our compliance obligations.\nCreate opportunity - For our people to excel: We champion a continuous improvement culture throughout all activities, inspiring our people and teams to develop.\nMace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
