Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey.\nThe project:\nThis is an opportunity to work on a large mixed-use water-font development in the UAE. The master-planned development will hold residential, hotel, retail, and commercial units.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nSupervise and manage infrastructure design consultants throughout all stages of design development, with particular focus on infrastructure, utilities and security services.\nEnsure designs comply with the employer's requirements, applicable codes, standards and PMC contractual obligations.\nManage and coordinate the statutory authority approval process, including submissions and interfaces with RTA, Trakhees, DEWA, telecom providers, DECCA, Dubai Municipality and other relevant authorities.\nEnsure design consultants establish and maintain clear approval pathways and programmes to support timely project delivery.\nAct as the key interface between infrastructure design consultants, the delivery team and relevant project stakeholders.\nCoordinate infrastructure design interfaces with third-party consultants and other disciplines.\nOversee infrastructure pre-construction planning, design programming and schedule management.\nIdentify, consolidate and manage design and delivery risks associated with the infrastructure programme.\nAdvise on appropriate infrastructure procurement routes and procurement strategy.\nMonitor infrastructure design progress and provide clear reporting against programme, deliverables, risks and approvals.\nUndertake technical and coordination reviews of consultant submissions, identifying design conflicts, gaps and evident technical non-conformances.\nLiaise with the cost consultant regarding infrastructure pricing, design development and changes.\nManage infrastructure design changes resulting from masterplan amendments and assess their impact on the wider project.\nCoordinate responses to authority comments and queries, including Dubai Municipality submissions, ensuring consultant responses are appropriate and technically coordinated.\nSupport the Infrastructure Director in maintaining effective governance, coordination and delivery of the overall infrastructure design programme.\nYou'll need to have:\nBachelor’s degree in civil engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a related engineering discipline from a recognised university.\nProfessional engineering qualification or chartership such as CEng, ICE, CIHT or equivalent would be advantageous.\nProject management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent would be beneficial.\nSignificant experience in infrastructure design management and delivery on major building, masterplan, or mixed-use development programmes.\nStrong experience working within a PMC, engineering consultancy, or major developer environment, managing multidisciplinary design consultants.\nDemonstrable experience of Dubai infrastructure and utility authority approvals, including coordination with RTA, DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees and telecom/service providers.\nStrong technical understanding of roads, utilities, drainage, wet and dry services, external works and associated infrastructure interfaces.\nExperience managing infrastructure design through concept, detailed design, authority approvals, procurement and construction stages.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across design, delivery, commercial, authority and third-party consultant teams.\nPrevious UAE/Dubai project experience, particularly on large-scale, complex developments.\nOur values\nSafety first - Going home safe and well: We champion a safe, diverse, and inclusive working environment, understanding the importance of wellbeing in every team.\nClient focus - Deliver on our promise: We own the quality of deliverables and strategic outcomes and build long-term relationships with our clients.\nIntegrity - Always do the right thing: We influence positive outcomes within our industry while always aligning with our compliance obligations.\nCreate opportunity - For our people to excel: We champion a continuous improvement culture throughout all activities, inspiring our people and teams to develop.\nMace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
