Deli Manager - Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated Deli Manager to join our team at MACE Kildimo. Approx 20 mins from Limerick City. As the Deli Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our deli department, ensuring high-quality food preparation, excellent customer service, and efficient workflow.

• Manage the daily operations of the deli department

• Lead, motivate, and support the deli team to deliver excellent customer service

• Ensure all food products are prepared, displayed, and presented to the highest standards

• Maintain compliance with HACCP, food safety, health and safety, and hygiene regulations

• Monitor stock levels, place orders, and minimise wastage

• Drive sales and profitability through effective merchandising and promotions

• Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed and departmental standards are maintained

• Train and develop team members in food preparation, customer service, and company procedures

• Manage staff rosters to ensure adequate staffing levels while controlling labour costs

• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently

• Collaborate with other departments to optimize overall store performance

Requirements

• Previous experience in a deli, food service, or retail supervisory/management role

• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety requirements

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

• Strong customer service focus with a positive and professional attitude

• Experience in stock control, ordering, and waste management is desirable

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays and weekends, in line with business needs
