You will support integration strategy, build readiness, interface risk management, failure investigation, and reliability growth across product development and production. This role spans Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, Operations, Program Management, and field support. The work is hands-on and connected to integration builds, production environments, test activities, and hardware failure investigations in Victorville, Ca..\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine integration strategies that establish readiness for component, assembly, and production.\nConduct risk assessments, and inspection plan reviews for complex products and assemblies.\nDevelop and improve control plans, initial controls, and methods for integrating complete systems.\nSupport component integration, built-to-print assembly, validation activities, and the transition from development into repeatable production.\nMonitor yield, build health, and process robustness to identify risks affecting throughput and product realization.\nLead systemic root-cause and corrective-action investigations for machined, assembly, integration, test, and production issues.\nBe focus point for existing quality management system (QMS) and integration of scaling QMS\nCollect and analyze build, test, and field data to improve repeatability, reliability, and engineering decision-making. This includes leading collection of quality system metrics and audits.. \nUp to 30% travel\nRequired Qualifications \nBachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality, or equivalent professional experience.\nTwo or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, reliability engineering, or a related hardware environment.\nExperience with root-cause analysis, corrective action, or comparable risk and failure-investigation methods.\nExperience with CNC, welding, and special processes such as NDE, PT, MT. \nExperience analyzing build, test, or production data to identify process risks and improvement opportunities.\nAbility to collaborate with design, manufacturing, test, operations, and program teams to resolve technical problems.\nAbility to work hands-on with complex hardware in integration, production, test, and failure-investigation environments.\nPreferred Qualifications \nExperience integrating aerospace, defense, propulsion, robotics, or other complex electromechanical hardware.\nExperience with interface failure characterization, process capture, control plans, RCCA, or reliability-growth methods.\nKnowledge of GD&T, design-for-assembly, engineering drawings, specifications, or configuration-control practices.\nExperience supporting built-to-print assembly, final test, field containment, or nonconformance investigations.\nExperience working in a startup, high-growth manufacturing, or regulated hardware environment.\nAdditional Requirements\nAvailable to work extended hours and weekends as needed\nITAR Requirements\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
