This role combines Level 1 and Level 2 user support with hands-on administration of endpoints, identity services, servers, and cloud and on-premises systems.\nYou will be a first point of contact for employee IT requests and an escalation point for more complex issues. You will also help keep our environment secure, available, and well documented through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide Level 1 and Level 2 support for employee hardware, software, accounts, connectivity, and other IT issues.\nTroubleshoot workstation, operating system, application, peripheral, identity, network, and infrastructure problems; escalate complex issues when needed.\nAdminister and maintain IT systems across on-premises and cloud environments, including servers, core services, and business-critical systems.\nManage user accounts, groups, permissions, and identity services to provide secure and reliable access to company resources.\nSet up, provision, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.\nInstall, configure, and update software, including Microsoft 365, VPN clients, and security applications.\nSupport core infrastructure services such as Active Directory, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file services.\nPerform routine maintenance, including patching, backups, upgrades, monitoring, and performance tuning.\nAssist with endpoint management, software deployment, and device standards.\nMaintain accurate technical documentation, procedures, user guides, asset inventories, and knowledge base content.\nHelp employees use IT systems effectively and follow good security practices.\nSupport security and compliance efforts by applying hardening standards, responding to operational findings, and assisting with audit readiness.\nCollaborate with IT colleagues and vendors on infrastructure issues, system upgrades, and other IT projects.\nRequired Qualifications \n3+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, systems administration, or a related role.\nExperience supporting Windows and macOS environments.\nExperience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, user and permission management, and endpoint support.\nWorking knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, subnets, DNS, and DHCP.\nExperience troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, and endpoint issues.\nFamiliarity with ticketing systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.\nWorking knowledge of patch management, backups, access control, and system security practices.\nAbility to document procedures and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively.\nAbility to travel.\nPreferred Qualifications \nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience supporting hybrid environments that include on-premises systems and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.\nFamiliarity with endpoint and mobile device management tools such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, or similar platforms.\nExperience with virtualization, backup, and infrastructure monitoring tools.\nExperience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools.\nProficiency with Linux operating systems.\nExperience in defense, manufacturing, aerospace, or another regulated environment.\nExposure to compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-171, CMMC, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.\nRelevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, VMware, or cloud platform certifications.\nAdditional Requirements\nAvailable to work extended hours and weekends as needed\nITAR Requirements\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
