We are dedicated to solving the next generation of warfare with lethal systems that deter kinetic conflict and protect global security.\nThe Role\nAs a member of the engineering team, you will take a lead role in the development of next-generation defense technologies, including but not limited to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missiles, and advanced weapon systems. You’ll regularly interact with senior leadership to influence fundamental operation of our platforms while collaborating with electrical, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to steer this project from initial conception to manufacturing.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign of advanced RF front ends and transceivers in support of next generation products including phased arrays, transmitters, and receivers.\n\nMastery and expertise of RF components such as matching networks, filter synthesis, LNAs, Mixers, VGA, PLL/Synthesizers, and VCOs.\n\nDesign, schematic capture, and PCB layout of RF transceivers and High-Speed circuits.\n\nUtilize best practice and strategies to minimize and troubleshoot EMI/RFI issues.\n\nPerform design validation testing of prototype and production designs with test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum/signal analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, noise figure meters, and etc.\n\nContribute to various aspects of the integration of the RF/Microwave designs into aircraft and other systems.\n\nAnalyze in-the-field operational RF/Microwave performance data of units and investigate methods to improve performance and debug issues.\n\nContribute to development of embedded software.\n\nRequired Qualifications \nBachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.\n\nMinimum of 1 year of experience in RF design and development.\n\nExperience with basic RF concepts such as impedance matching, smith charts, power handling metrics (IP3, IMD, Harmonic Distortion, Phase Noise), microwave network analysis.\n\nFamiliarity with one or more of the mainstream RF circuit simulation tools: AWR MWO, Keysight ADS, Genesys.\n\nFamiliarity with Altium Designer and Matlab\n\nPreferred Qualifications \nFamiliarity with antenna concepts.\n\nFamiliarity with Radar concepts and design.\n\nAbility to work in a fast paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up atmosphere.\n\nExcellent communication skills both written and verbal.\n\nStrong design background with a history of problem solving and taking on new challenges.\n\nAdditional Requirements\nAvailable to work extended hours and weekends as needed\nITAR Requirements\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
