This role partners closely with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, and business stakeholders to support growth, drive process improvements, and scale AP operations.\nLocation: This position will be based in our La Grange, KY office. Following the training period, the role will offer the option to work in a hybrid arrangement or remain fully office-based.\nWhat you’ll do\nOwn the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, approvals, payments, vendor maintenance, and reconciliations.\nManage and develop a team of AP professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.\nOversee vendor master data, resolve complex vendor disputes, and help optimize payment terms while maintaining strong vendor relationships.\nOversee weekly payment runs while ensuring appropriate controls and fraud prevention measures are in place.\nOptimize high-volume, nonrecurring vendor payment processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and operational efficiency.\nLead AP month-end close activities, including accruals, vendor reconciliations, and aged payables reviews.\nDevelop an understanding of the contract-to-pay process and align with the Procurement team on the handling of the software solution.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to resolve payment and vendor issues and improve procure-to-pay processes.\nDrive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability.\nSupport internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation and strong controls.\nManage U.S. 1099 reporting and other AP-related compliance requirements.\nOther tasks and duties to be assigned as needed.\nWhat experience you bring (Role Requirements)\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field\n5+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience, including 1+ year of experience leading a team or AP function.\nStrong understanding of AP operations, internal controls, payment processing, and audit requirements.\nExperience in a high-volume, multi-entity environment.\nERP experience required; Sage Intacct and Ramp experience preferred.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, comfortable building and maintaining AP tracking spreadsheets\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to partner across all levels of the organization.\nSelf-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.\nWhat We Offer:\nTop Medical/Dental/Vision offerings\n\nFSA/HSA\n\nTuition reimbursement\n\nCompetitive salary, 401(k) with company match\n\nAdditional health and wellness benefits and perks\n\nFlexible and trusting environment where you’ll feel empowered to do your best work\nThe salary for this position is based on an array of factors unique to each candidate: Such as years and depth of experience, set skills, certifications, etc. We are hiring for different levels, and our Recruiting team will let you know if you qualify for a different role/range. \nPay range: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 USD\nEqual Employment Opportunity at Machinify\nWe are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.
