GA. Experience with construction layout, architectural/structural plan interpretation, field engineering, and concrete construction is required.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSets up and maintains permanent control throughout the line and grade portion of the project.\nValidates accurate dimensions by reviewing architectural and structural drawings prior to execution.\nIdentifies any discrepancies in drawings prior to execution.\nEngages the project lead on the line and grade portion of the project to ensure proper scheduling and sequencing.\nProficient with advanced instruments and the total station to perform an accurate layout.\nCompletes a layout accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.\nCommunicate with clients on a daily basis\nDelivers layout information to the project team to ensure proper execution.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n5- 7 years of experience in field engineering, surveying, and layout for a large-scale self-perform GC or Concrete Contractor.\nSelf-perform experience of concrete.\nProficiency with MS Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Workspace\nExcellent organizational and communication skills.\nCustomer-centric mindset\nExperience across a wide variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.\nKnowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.\nExperience with using advanced instruments and capable of using Total Station to perform layouts.\nPreferred qualifications:\nOSHA 10 or OSHA 30\nExperience coaching, leading, or mentoring junior team members\nWhy Join Lowe Engineers - A Part of MacKay?\nThe best of both organizations\nJoin a team with nearly 70 years of engineering excellence and trusted client relationships, backed by the resources, expertise, and opportunities of a growing national firm.\nA people-first culture\nAt MacKay, we put people first. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.\nUS Pay Range\n$25—$40 USD\nFull-time employees receive a well-rounded benefit package including access to our company-sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans. We also offer 100% company-paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company's 401(k) plan with up to a 4% match. Additionally, employees receive paid vacation and sick time, 11 paid holidays, and are able to participate in employee ownership options.
