Let's connect.\n Typical duties include but are not limited to:\nCivil design and layout including civil, site layout, grading plans, stormwater management, and piping and pumping systems\nResponsible for participating in large multi-disciplinary team projects. \nPreparing drawings and specifications\nResponsible for delivery of work products to clients\nOversee construction projects as Client representative\n Requirements:\nB.S. in Civil Engineering \nF.E. required and ability to obtain P.E. within 4 years of graduation from college\n0-4 years of relevant experience in public works and civil design\nTechnical Skills and abilities:\nEngineering design, including but not limited to grading, drainage, and site layout for municipal infrastructure projects\nConstruction management and oversight\nCost estimating\nPreparation of procurement and construction specifications\nScheduling and subcontractor management\nData analysis, problem-solving, and cost estimating\nInterpersonal skills and abilities:\nNimble learner and adapts well to change\nEmotional intelligence\nMaintains confidentiality\nActive listening skills\nConflict resolution skills\nWhy Join MacKay?\nA people-first culture\nAt MacKay, we put people first. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.\nUS Pay Range\n$38—$45 USD\nFull-time employees receive a well-rounded benefit package including access to our company-sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans. We also offer 100% company-paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company's 401(k) plan with up to a 4% match. Additionally, employees receive paid vacation and sick time, 11 paid holidays, and are able to participate in employee ownership options.
