If you're looking for a place where you can truly grow, we'd love to hear from you.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProject Management & Delivery\nLead engineering projects from initiation through completion, overseeing project scope, planning, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, invoicing, resource forecasting, and successful delivery.\nTechnical Leadership\nDirect engineering design, technical analysis, and the preparation and review of studies, reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, calculations, construction documents, submittals, and RFIs for water, wastewater, and groundwater infrastructure projects.\nQuality & Compliance\nEnsure technical excellence by overseeing QA/QC processes and applying engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures throughout project delivery.\nClient & Stakeholder Management\nServe as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, building trusted relationships and ensuring effective project coordination.\nTeam Leadership\nMentor, develop, and provide technical leadership to Project Engineers and engineering staff while fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.\nBusiness Development & Continuous Improvement\nContribute to proposal development, project pursuits, backlog planning, and client growth initiatives while driving continuous improvements in project delivery, operational workflows, and client service.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n10+ years of relevant experience in soil/groundwater remediation, water, wastewater, vapor intrusion, and stormwater project design\nDesign experience on groundwater or wastewater treatment systems\nAt least two years of project management experience\nCalifornia P.E. license or the ability to obtain one through reciprocity within a reasonable time frame \nBachelor’s degree in Chemical or Civil Engineering\nAbility to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships\nAbility to learn and adapt\nAbility to manage several project management/engineering tasks concurrently\nSolid organizational, verbal, and written communication skills\nAbility to establish and maintain relationships with multi-disciplinary team members\nPreferred qualifications:\n40-hour HAZWOPER certification \nFirst aid/CPR trained\nFamiliarity with Project Management platforms such as AutoCAD Forma\nFamiliarity with AutoCAD Plant 3D\nFamiliarity with control system narratives\nFamiliarity with low-voltage power\nCalifornia Stormwater Design and Qualified SWPPP Developer\nDesign of vapor barriers and mitigation systems\nWhy Join MacKay?\nA people-first culture\nAt MacKay, we put people first. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.\nUS Pay Range\n$175,000—$240,000 USD\nFull-time employees receive a well-rounded benefit package including access to our company-sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans. We also offer 100% company-paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company's 401(k) plan with up to a 4% match. Additionally, employees receive paid vacation and sick time, 11 paid holidays, and are able to participate in employee ownership options.
