Including supporting new product launches and legacy items.\nCollaborate with sales, marketing, production and logistics teams to align forecasts with business goals.\nAnalyze sales patterns and external factors to anticipate changes in demand.\nMonitor inventory levels across all sales channels to ensure alignment with demand forecasts and maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory costs.\nUtilize data-driven insights and key performance metrics to provide regular updates on demand trends, inventory status, and supply chain risks.\nManage category-level ordering, including purchase order placement, status tracking, and supplier communication to ensure accurate, on-time delivery. Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to support smooth inbound operations and resolve discrepancies.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements in forecasting, inventory management, and ordering.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nThis position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.\nQualifications\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and proven Microsoft Office skills.\nProven experience (5 years) in demand and supply planning, procurement, or supply chain management within the retails industry, preferably in home furnishings.\nDetail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nSpecial Requirements:\nOccasional weekend work as required to meet business needs.\nLocation: Remote, with occasional travel to Aurora\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal teams and external vendors.\nEquipment Used: Computer, printer, scanner, telephone, and photocopier.\nPhysical and Mental Requirements:\nAbility to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, crouch, kneel, bend, climb, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.\nLight mental and visual attention is required for performing work where there is some variety, but actions taken and decisions made are limited to few possibilities.
