This role is responsible for creating and editing tool paths for machining operations on the VF-3, and writing, editing, and optimizing production drilling programs for the VF-2, in addition to setting up and operating the assigned CNC equipment.\nJob Duties\nCreate, edit, and optimize CNC tool paths/programs for Haas VF-3 vertical machining centers\nWrite, edit, and optimize production drilling programs (G-code) for VF-2 drilling machines\nSet up and operate assigned VF-3 and VF-2 CNC machines, including tooling, offsets, and workholding\nCheck that items produced pass quality control requirements\nVerify new and edited programs via graphics/dry-run and first-article inspection before releasing to production\nPerform complex troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments or repairs\nRead and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications\nUse required gaging instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators) to verify part dimensions and tolerances\nCollaborate with team members to increase overall throughput\nConsult with management and help with training\nProvide leadership, coaching and mentoring when needed\nComplete all necessary documents fully and accurately \nAdhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)\nFollow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures\nPerform other duties as assigned\nExperience and Education\nPerform work under minimal supervision \nHandle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher level staff\nPossess comprehensive working knowledge of subject matter\nOver 5 years of experience, including hands-on CNC programming and setup on Haas (or similar) vertical machining and drilling equipment\nCompetencies/ Skills\nAbility to interpret work instructions\nAbility to follow written and verbal directions\nIntermediate verbal and written communication skills\nExcellent interpersonal skills \nAbility to write
