This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate part information, bills of materials (BOMs), manufacturing routings, and engineering documentation to support production, purchasing, and engineering operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP systems, engineering change management, and manufacturing data control, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nJob Duties\nEngineering Change Control: Coordinate, track, and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), ensuring proper approvals, documentation, and timely execution.\nJDE Data Management: Maintain accurate item master records, part attributes, manufacturing data, and product information within JD Edwards.\nNew Part Setup: Create and configure new part numbers, including item master information, units of measure, classifications, and required manufacturing attributes.\nBill of Materials (BOM) Management: Create, maintain, and update BOMs to ensure accuracy of component quantities, revisions, and product structures.\nManufacturing Routings: Develop and maintain routing information, including work centers, operation sequences, setup times, and labor standards in coordination with manufacturing teams.\nData Integrity: Perform regular reviews and audits of ERP information to identify and correct discrepancies.\nCross-Functional Coordination: Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Planning to ensure product data supports operational requirements.\nDocumentation Control: Maintain engineering drawings, specifications, revision histories, and supporting product documentation.\nProcess Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline ECO workflows, improve data accuracy, and standardize engineering processes.\nComplete all necessary documents fully and accurately.\nAdhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.).\nFollow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nExperience and Education\nAssociate's or bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.\nExperience with JD Edwards (JDE) or similar ERP systems.\nKnowledge of engineering change management processes (ECR/ECO/ECN).\nExperience maintaining item masters, BOMs, and manufacturing routings.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, and inventory management.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools.\nFamiliarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) and document control systems.\nStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.\nCompetencies/ Skills\nMaintain accurate and complete engineering and manufacturing master data.\nEnsure ECOs are processed and implemented in a timely manner.\nMinimize production disruptions caused by incorrect BOMs, routings, or part setups.\nMaintain consistent revision control and documentation accuracy.\nImprove standardization and efficiency of engineering data management
