This role oversees daily operations, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and promotes a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.\nJob Duties\nDirect and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in production operations, including inspectors, machine operators, and fabricators\nMonitor workflow and production schedules to ensure targets for efficiency, quality, and timeliness are met\nNotify Maintenance or Engineering when equipment requires repair or preventive maintenance\nTrack and report key production metrics, including output, downtime, efficiency, and quality performance\nCollaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to identify and resolve production issues promptly\nEnsure proper staffing, materials, and inventory levels to meet production demand\nTrain, coach, and evaluate production employees to ensure adherence to standard work practices and productivity expectations\nEnforce company policies, safety rules, and performance standards, addressing discipline and performance issues in coordination with HR as needed\nApply Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, streamline workflow, and improve process efficiency\nImplement and sustain 5S practices (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to promote a safe and organized work environment\nUtilize Six Sigma methodologies to analyze process variation, implement corrective actions, and achieve measurable improvements\nFacilitate continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and value stream mapping\nEnsure compliance with all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nExperience and Education\nHigh school diploma or GED required;
