The Lead enforces pressroom S.O.P.’s and maintains open communication with the plate room and mailroom.\nWhat you will do:\nOperate the press and complete all production assigned to the shift\n\nDirect workflow and delegate job duties of other Pressman employees\n\nConfirm job configurations, run orders, and circulation orders\n\nComplete all paperwork related to nightly production\n\nResponsible for the quality of all printed products on the assigned shift\n\nCommunicate any problems, changes, or equipment issues to other departments and through proper channels\n\nMake ready the press for the next shift\n\nTrain for and obtain a Forklift Certification\n\nWhat you will bring:\nProven and sustained high performance in the Press Operator II role for 3-5 years, or equivalent work experience\n\nRequires the ability to work independently and as part of a team\n\nStrong communication, time management, and organizational skills\n\nMust demonstrate an effective general understanding of the entire newspaper production process\n\nAttention to detail and ability to identify quality defects\n\nBenefits and Compensation:\nThehourly rangeis $24.00 - $25.00+ one time sign on bonus.
