Director, Finance Business Systems

Summary:

The Business Systems Director provides strategic leadership and operational management for the enterprise applications team, focusing on the continuous support, enhancement, and optimization of the cloud-based Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems. This role acts as a key liaison between IT, Finance, Accounting, and Business Operations, ensuring system configurations and reporting capabilities (including OTBI, BI Publisher, and Smart View) are fully aligned with corporate and regional objectives.

Although this is a remote role, candidates must reside inCO, FL, IL, MA, MN, OH, OK, PA, or TX

What you will d o:

• Lead technical and functional support, administration, and strategic enhancement of the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (GL, FA, CM, AP & Expenses) and EPM Suites (EPRCS, EDM, ARCS)
• Oversee the planning, budgeting, timeline execution, and risk management of system upgrade releases and corporate system projects
• Partner closely with executive leadership to gather requirements, resolve gaps, and improve complex cross-functional business processes and integrations
• Design and manage change control, user acceptance testing (quarterly releases), training documentation and user adoption plans
• Direct, mentor and allocate resources across the team, including Senior Oracle Analysts, Consultants and external technical partners as required
• Collaborate closely with Oracle to manage vendor relations and contract renewals, ensuring alignment with emerging platform features and updates
• Design, implement, and maintain various key business system integrations and provide ongoing support and maintenance for various key business systems
• Work directly with key business system integration partners both internally and externally, such as banking institutions and other key business partners
• Manage the internal business systems core team

What you will bring:

• Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle EPM Cloud.

• Proficient in Oracle Reporting and analytic utilities (OTBI, BI Publisher, and Excel Smartview)

• Strong understanding of financial accounting standards, budgeting/forecasting processes, and corporate organizational structures

• Analytical problem-solving with the ability to navigate complex business workflows

• Project Management skills to manage complex projects spanning multiple business units, ownership structures, intercompany relationships, system integrations, and other functions

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• 8+ years of management experience leading corporate systems or IT enterprise applications teams

• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting, customizing, and managing Oracle ERP and EPM platforms

• Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional projects and leading change adoption in standard office and remote environments

Benefits and Compensation:

The annual salary range is $140,000 - $170,000 + potential annual bonus of 15%.
