The role focuses on executing standard administrative tasks, handling low- to medium-complexity incidents and changes, and gradually building independence in system administration while ensuring stability, security, and procedural compliance.\nThe System Administration position family is responsible for maintaining and operating server and infrastructure environments, monitoring systems, handling incidents and\nchanges, supporting virtualization and container platforms, and ensuring that environments remain stable, secure, and compliant with operational and security standards. Roles within this family cooperate closely with IT OPS, Security, R&D, and development teams and contribute to documentation, automation, and continuous improvement of operational practices.\nJob Responsibilities\nPerform standard administrative tasks in Linux and Windows systems in accordance with established procedures.\nMaintain Linux systems and basic infrastructure services in test and production environments.\nHandle incidents and changes of low or medium complexity within defined timelines.\nExecute daily operational tasks in line with procedures, instructions, and security standards.\nMonitor environments, perform initial alert analysis, and escalate incidents requiring deeper diagnostics.\nVerify basic monitoring events and take first actions according to operational instructions.\nSupport virtualization, container services, web services, and basic network components.\nParticipate in planned maintenance activities, including updates, restarts, and patching.\nAssist with operating system, service, and administrative tool updates, including security patching.\nAnalyze system and application logs at a basic level and prepare materials for further diagnostics.\nCarry out simple configuration changes after approval or instruction from senior team members.\nSupport account and access management activities, including permissions, firewalls, and basic security tasks.\nAssist in creating and maintaining simple scripts and automations to reduce repetitive manual work.\nPrepare and update operational documentation, checklists, and basic Ansible runbooks.\nDocument completed changes, incident conclusions, and task status in ticketing and documentation systems.\nCooperate with mid-level and senior administrators on operational issues and improvements.\nCommunicate task status and simple incident information to internal users and technical stakeholders.\nEscalate problems and high-impact changes according to established responsibility paths.\nPropose minor improvements to procedures, documentation, and daily operational activities.\nGradually increase independence in maintaining Linux environments and operational tools.\nEnsure stable, timely execution of repetitive operational tasks and reliable status communication.\nRequired Qualifications and experience:\nEducation\nHigh School Technical Diploma or higher education in:\nInformation Technology\nComputer Science\nTelecommunications\nCybersecurity\nElectronics\nAutomation\nOr a related technical discipline\nExperience\n1+ year of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or a related technical field.\nPrevious experience in a System Administrator, Infrastructure Support, Helpdesk, or similar technical role.\nTechnical Skills\nBasic knowledge of Linux systems (preferably Debian-based distributions).\nFamiliarity with command-line administration and Bash scripting fundamentals.\nBasic Windows Server administration knowledge.\nExperience working with SSH and administrative consoles.\nUnderstanding of:System logs\nServer services\nSystem processes\nMonitoring tools\n\nBasic knowledge of firewall administration, including iptables and Fortinet/FortiGate.\nExposure to virtualization technologies and container platforms is an advantage.\nFamiliarity with monitoring solutions such as Grafana is preferred.\nLanguage Skills\nEnglish proficiency at B2 level or above.\nAbility to read technical documentation, manage tickets, and communicate effectively with technical stakeholders.\nB2+ proficiency is advantageous for independent communication with international teams, partners, and customers.\nPreferred Qualifications\n2+ years of experience in system administration or infrastructure operations.\nExperience supporting production environments.\nExposure to automation tools such as Ansible.\nBasic networking and security administration knowledge.\nExperience with cloud-based or hybrid infrastructure environments.\nRelevant Linux, Windows Server, Networking, or Cybersecurity certifications are considered a plus\n\nWhat do we offer:\n\nStable position in a growing business with a \"people first\" atmosphere\nPrivate health care and sport benefit\nAccess to eLearning platform\nHybrid work model\nA modern office in the city center with an amazing chillout space.\n\nOur commitment to Diversity\nAt Macrobond, diversity, equity, and inclusion are fundamental to our culture and success.
