Customers come to us with dedicated hardware that costs more every year, deployments that depend on one person's memory, and enterprise workloads- Linux, Windows, big data that nobody wants to touch.\nYou'll join the DevOps team that lands these migrations. Aedeon handles the discovery and dependency-mapping grind; you build the automation, monitoring, and CI infrastructure that makes each cutover repeatable and safe. This is a client-facing engineering role: you'll set customer expectations, meet them, and see your infrastructure work carry production traffic.\nWhat you will do?\nDeliver application migration projects from on-premises to AWS.\nDeliver database migration projects RDBMS, NoSQL, DW, Hadoop from on-premises to AWS.\nAutomate operational and server provisioning workflows using AWS CFT on AWS.\nShare responsibility for deploying releases and running operations maintenance.\nImprove operations infrastructure: Jenkins clusters, Bitbucket, monitoring tools (Consul), and metrics tools such as Graphite and Grafana.\nProvide operational support for the rest of the engineering team.\nHelp migrate our remaining dedicated hardware infrastructure to the cloud retire the legacy, don't babysit it.\nEstablish and maintain operational best practices, and implement monitoring for automated system health checks.\nBuild our CI pipeline, and train and guide the team in DevOps practices.\nWhat do you have?\n2+ years of experience using Terraform for IaaC.\n2+ years of configuration management and engineering for large-scale customers, ideally supporting an Agile development process.\n2+ years of Linux administration experience.\nDeep understanding of version control systems (git), including branching and merging strategies.\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS/EC2/ECS/RDS/CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.) and cloud automation tools (Ansible, Chef).\nExperience with software build tools (Maven, Gradle) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins).\nProduction support experience with Java-based applications - this one's a must.\nExperience with Linux environments and scripting languages: bash, Python, Groovy.\nExperience supporting Node.js in production is a plus.\nKnowledge of service discovery tools such as Consul is a plus.\nComfort working late evening hours, which is when most patching occurs.\nA proactive eye for what can be made more reliable - and the follow-through to make it so.\nYou will be preferred if\nYou are AWS DevOps Pro or AWS SA Pro Certified\nHow we work?\nWe run a forward-deployed model. Engineers embed with the customer's team, own outcomes from discovery through production, and carry the delivery commitment personally. As an associate, that structure works in your favor: the repetitive discovery work is largely absorbed by agents, so your hours go to automation, infrastructure, and learning cutover discipline from senior engineers.
