You'll lead a large-scale data center migration and modernization program moving workloads, applications, and infrastructure to AWS planning the waves, tracking the risks, aligning engineering, architecture, security, and business teams, and keeping the committed date defensible every single week. The engineers own the technical judgment. You own the schedule they ship against and the communication the customer plans against.\nWhat you will do\nLead end-to-end planning and execution of the data center migration to AWS: assessment, discovery, design, migration waves, and stabilization.\nDrive modernization initiatives containerization, refactoring, re-platforming, and automation improvements.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, migration wave schedules, RAID logs, communication plans, and status reports.\nKeep activities aligned with cloud adoption frameworks, enterprise architecture guidelines, and the client's business objectives.\nTrack scope, priorities, risks, dependencies, delays, and deliverables across multiple workstreams - surface slippage before it costs the date.\nServe as the primary point of contact between engineering teams, leadership, and client stakeholders.\nRun steering committee meetings, sprint reviews, and technical workstream syncs.\nAlign cross-functional teams: cloud architects, network/security teams, DevOps, and application owners.\nManage vendor relationships and third-party integrators involved in migration execution.\nRun daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives.\nFacilitate internal and external architecture discussions and review calls, and document decisions with teams working across India and three US time zones.\nProactively produce meeting notes and weekly customer presentations; keep project documents and recorded calls organized.\nReview and approve employee timesheets and leaves; manage the team calendar.\nKeep the customer ahead of the project, not behind it - proactively communicate status, risks, and requests.\nOwn customer escalations and drive them to resolution.\nNegotiate scope changes with the documentation to back them - a fixed date only holds if scope is managed in writing.\nWhat are we looking for\n3+ years of proven experience leading data center migration to AWS.\n5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master with customers in US time zones.\nStrong understanding of AWS cloud services: landing zones, VPC/networking, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, EKS/ECS, and migration tools.\nExpertise in Smartsheet, Jira/Confluence, and Clockify.\nExcellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.\nExpertise managing internal and external teams.\nStrong prioritization and problem-solving skills.\nYou will be preferred if you've\nExperience in cloud migration projects on AWS\nSolution Architect Associate Certification\nProfessional Scrum Master™ certification\nManaging Jira Projects certification\nSmartsheet Certification\nHow we work?\nAedeon absorbs the discovery, mapping, and validation work that traditional engagements bill analyst hours against roughly 60-70% of the hours an equivalent-scope consulting proposal staffs for. Forward-deployed engineers embed with the customer and own the cutover. Your job is the connective tissue: wave schedules that hold, risks surfaced with lead time, decisions documented, and a customer who never has to ask \"is this on track?\" We commit to dates in the contract. You're the person who makes those dates boring.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3607,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"India","iso":"IN","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Cloud Consulting & Migration","Data Engineering & Migration Services"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-05T18:36:53Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":8,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.3,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":323,"expected_fill_days":87,"reasons":["conf:2","stale_co","ghost","win:tail","crowd:"],"computed_at":"2026-10-17T05:46:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/mactores-project-manager-data-center-migration-modernization","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/mactores-project-manager-data-center-migration-modernization.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-18T05:59:07Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":8977,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-19T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":6938},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=6938"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fmactores-project-manager-data-center-migration-modernization"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fmactores-project-manager-data-center-migration-modernization"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fmactores-project-manager-data-center-migration-modernization"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/mactores-project-manager-data-center-migration-modernization\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fmactores-project-manager-data-center-migration-modernization"}]}
