The candidate will work closely with application teams, cloud engineers, and stakeholders to ensure a smooth, performant, and compliant migration.\nWhat you will do?\nRefactor and convert Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database objects to PostgreSQL-compatible SQL/PLpgSQL.\nAnalyze and remediate AWS SCT (Schema Conversion Tool) findings and limitations.\nManage and maintain Flyway migration codebase (versioned scripts, repeatable migrations, rollbacks).\nIdentify, troubleshoot, and fix database-related application bugs.\nPerform query optimization for PostgreSQL (execution plans, indexing strategies, query rewrites).\nSupport and monitor AWS DMS during full load and CDC phases.\nDiagnose and resolve DMS data and performance issues.\nPerform data validation and reconciliation between Oracle and PostgreSQL.\nCollaborate with application teams to align SQL behavior and performance expectations.\nWhat are we looking for?\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.\n5+ years of experience as an Oracle/PostgreSQL DBA and database developer.\nStrong experience with Oracle Database and PostgreSQL / Aurora PostgreSQL.\nHands-on expertise in Oracle to PostgreSQL migration.\nAdvanced SQL and query performance tuning skills.\nExperience with AWS SCT and AWS DMS.\nKnowledge of Flyway/Liquibase or similar schema migration tools.\nPostgreSQL internals: indexing, statistics, execution plans.\nAWS services: RDS/Aurora, CloudWatch, IAM (preferred).\nYou will be preferred if:\nFamiliarity with automation and configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.\nFamiliarity with IAAC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD implementation tools like Liquibase/Flyway.\nAWS Certified Database -
