Most consultancy content sounds the same - capability lists, stacked adjectives, claims without baselines. Ours can't. Our positioning voice is flat, declarative, and engineering-led: pain named before capability, numbers with baselines, one contrarian claim per piece that a sharp reader would bookmark. Writing in that voice, at L300/L400 technical depth, for US B2B buyers - that's this job.\nAs our Technical Content Writer, you'll turn complex cloud and data engineering work Apache Iceberg lakehouses, Oracle-to-Aurora migrations, Spark optimization, cloud-native DataOps into deeply technical, visually sharp content that ranks, resonates, and drives enterprise pipeline in the US market. This is not a generalist writing role. You'll go deep technically, and you'll bring marketing judgment to everything you produce: a piece has to land with a data engineer, an IT director, and a CFO evaluating cloud ROI without being rewritten for each. You'll own content from research through publication long-form blogs, whitepapers, case studies, social copy, and the diagrams that make the argument legible.\nWhat you will do?\nWrite and ship technical content\nResearch, write, and publish L300/L400-level technical blogs, deep-dive articles, whitepapers, case studies, and solution briefs across AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure.\nTurn complex architectural work Iceberg lakehouses, Oracle-to-Aurora migrations, Spark optimization, cloud-native DataOps into structured, accurate, engaging long-form content.\nProduce both long-form and short-form independently blog posts, tutorials, solution walkthroughs, comparison guides, newsletters, LinkedIn posts, marketing copy without editorial hand-holding.\nWork closely with solution architects, data engineers, and SMEs to validate technical accuracy and pull out implementation-level insight the reader can't get elsewhere.\nMake it visual\nDesign and produce the visual assets that carry the writing: custom diagrams, architecture illustrations, infographics, social graphics, data visualizations.\nUse Canva, Figma, Adobe Express, or equivalent to independently create polished, on-brand visuals that make complex topics immediately digestible.\nBuild graphic-rich formats - one-pagers, solution briefs, visual explainers - optimized for US B2B audiences across digital and print channels.\nApply visual storytelling so technical content travels on LinkedIn and partner platforms.\nWrite for the buyer who's actually reading\nWrite with a clear understanding of US B2B buyer behavior, content expectations, and purchasing patterns - from practitioner to VP to C-suite.\nAdapt tone, format, and messaging by segment, so the same engagement story lands with a data engineer, an IT director, or a CFO.\nContribute to co-branded content with AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks - blogs, webinars, roadshow materials aligned with US go-to-market priorities.\nRepurpose long-form content into social-ready formats for LinkedIn, newsletters, and partner channels, tuned for the US audience.\nUse AI as a force multiplier\nActively use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grammarly, and others) to accelerate research, drafting, editing, and ideation.\nApply AI tools to improve structure, readability, and technical depth - a multiplier for quality and velocity, not a substitute for expertise.\nStay current with AI content tooling and keep folding better tools and workflows into your process.\nOwn SEO and performance\nOwn the SEO strategy for all published content: keyword research, search intent mapping, on-page optimization, internal linking, meta descriptions, structured data.\nUse Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, or Surfer SEO to find content opportunities, track rankings, and optimize existing content.\nWrite content that holds technical authority and still ranks for the high-intent, long-tail queries US engineers and architects actually search.\nRun regular content audits and refreshes so published pieces stay current with platform features and industry shifts.\nOptimize for featured snippets, People Also Ask, and rich results where applicable.\nTrack performance - organic traffic, time on page, conversions, backlinks - and use the data to sharpen the content strategy.\nWhat are we looking for?\n4+ years creating technical content in the cloud, data engineering, or analytics domain, with a portfolio that shows both technical depth and marketing polish.\nDemonstrated L300/L400 writing ability comfortable with distributed query optimization, schema evolution in Iceberg, PL/SQL-to-PostgreSQL conversion, or Spark-on-EMR tuning without significant guidance from engineers.\nExcellent written English for a US B2B audience American business communication norms, tone, and content expectations.\nA proven record of producing long-form and short-form content across formats without extensive editorial support.\nHands-on experience creating graphic-rich content infographics, diagrams, social assets, visual explainers - with design tools.\nWorking knowledge of at least two of: AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure.\nStrong SEO fundamentals: keyword research, on-page SEO, content architecture, backlink strategy, performance tracking.\nProficiency with AI writing and productivity tools, and a demonstrated habit of using them to raise quality and output.\nExperience with a CMS platform (HubSpot, WordPress, or equivalent).\nA marketing-focused background formal education or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.\nYou'll be preferred if\nA Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field\nCertification in one or more of: AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure\nCertification or coursework in Technical Writing or Content Strategy\nExperience writing content for an AWS Partner, ISV, or cloud consultancy targeting the US market\nFamiliarity with Apache Iceberg, Apache Spark, dbt, Kafka, or similar open-source data technologies\nExperience contributing to or ghostwriting for AWS blogs, Databricks blog, or Snowflake Medium publications\nWorking knowledge of HTML/Markdown for CMS publishing\nDemonstrated understanding of US B2B advertising norms, including familiarity with how US enterprise buyers consume and evaluate technical content\nHow we work?\nYou'll write from shipped work, not abstractions. Our engineers land real migrations with named customers and measurable outcomes, and Aedeon-driven delivery gives you material most content teams never get: agents absorbing 60-70% of engagement hours versus a traditional consulting proposal of equivalent scope, cutovers on committed dates, legacy actually retired. Your job is quality uplift, not volume every piece opinionated, data-led, written for one buyer reading alone, and carrying a claim with a baseline. You'll use AI tools the way our engineers use agents: to absorb the repetitive work so your hours go to the judgment.","description_format":"text","description_chars":6954,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"All levels","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"India","iso":"IN","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Cloud Consulting & Migration","Data Engineering & Migration Services"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-05T18:36:53Z"}],"liveness":{"score":3,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.089,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":1142,"expected_fill_days":12,"reasons":["conf:0","stale_co","ghost","win:tail","crowd:"],"computed_at":"2026-09-25T05:45:01Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/mactores-technical-content-writer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/mactores-technical-content-writer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-26T03:54:57Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4247,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":753,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-27T00:00:00Z"}}}
