From material handling equipment and powered equipment to facility systems and building structures, you'll troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and help ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.\nThis is a hands-on role where no two days look exactly the same. You'll take on mechanical and electrical challenges, complete daily inspections, respond to maintenance needs, and support larger projects with your team. To reassure customers, they follow through with clarity and consistency, delivering on promises and making things right when expectations aren't met. \nThey know that excellence is shown by focusing on what matters most to the customer.\nWhat To Expect\nWork hands-on with equipment, systems, and facility maintenance needs in a fast-paced operations environment.\nTroubleshoot and repair issues that help keep the operation running safely and efficiently.\nDocument work, parts usage, and repair needs using maintenance systems.\nPartner with leaders, vendors, and team members to resolve maintenance issues.\nHow You’ll Make an Impact\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair material handling equipment, including conveyors, sorters, and related systems.\nPerform preventive maintenance and daily inspections of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.\nDismantle, inspect, repair, replace, assemble, and test equipment and parts to confirm proper operation.\nMaintain machines, tools, equipment, and facility systems through routine repairs, lubrication, cleaning, and basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or welding support.\nUse maintenance systems to track repairs, parts usage, equipment needs, and vendor support.\nFollow safe work practices, report concerns, and help maintain a safe and respectful workplace.\nSkills That Matter\nMust Have\nMinimum 2 years of direct maintenance experience, commercial or industrial maintenance-related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nAbility to read, understand, and interpret employment policies, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals in English.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, customers, office staff, receiving teams, fleet maintenance administration, management, carriers, and drivers.\n\nBasic computer and handheld technology skills, including the ability to use maintenance systems to document work.\n\nResourceful self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.\n\nAbility to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience working with conveyors, sorters, automated warehouse systems, or other material handling equipment.\n\nExperience performing basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, or facility maintenance tasks.\n\nFamiliarity with computerized maintenance management systems and parts documentation.\n\nPhysical Activities You Will Perform\nThis role involves performing essential job functions such as communication, collaboration, and use of office and computer systems. \nResponsibilities include the ability to access and review written and electronic information, and to move within the work environment and interact with workplace materials as needed to carry out job responsibilities.\nFrequently lift/move up to 10lbs.\nRequires close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.\nWhat We Can Offer You\nJoin a team where work is as rewarding as it is fun!
