Those stories are part of what makes this such a special place to work.\nJob Overview\nThe Supply Chain Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, components, supplies, and services required to meet production and operational needs. This position works closely with suppliers, production control and planning, operations, engineering, and internal partners to ensure material availability, maintain appropriate inventory levels, and drive supplier performance. The Procurement Specialist manages purchase orders, proactively resolves supply constraints, communicates risks, and builds strong supplier relationships through effective organization, analytical thinking, communication, and fiscal responsibility.\nWhat You Will Do\nCreate, issue, and manage purchase orders to support operational requirements while ensuring compliance with pricing, lead times, inventory targets, and supplier agreements. \nMaintain inventory levels for consumable products and partner with Production Control and Planning to support forecasted volumes. \nProactively identify material shortages and supply constraints, develop recovery plans with suppliers, and communicate risks to stakeholders. \nBuild strong supplier relationships, monitor performance, and escalate recurring issues to ensure delivery commitments are met. \nManage inventory levels by reviewing purchasing parameters and identifying opportunities to reduce excess and obsolete inventory. \nSupport cost reduction initiatives through sourcing activities, supplier evaluations, price comparisons, negotiations, and purchasing improvements. \nSupport standardization of purchasing processes and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. \nOperate material handling equipment (Power Equipment Operation) in warehouse and fulfillment center environments.\nSkills You Will Need\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. \nExperience in purchasing, procurement, material planning, supply chain, or related environment. \nStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deliver results independently. \nStrong communication and relationship-building skills with suppliers, peers, and leaders. \nStrong attention to detail and data accuracy. \nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. \nWho You Are\nProficient in the use of computers and handheld technology. \nSelf-starter who adapts quickly to changing business needs. \nAble to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.\nAbility to read, understand, and interpret policies, procedures, and safety documents in English.\nEssential Physical Requirements You Will Perform\nProlonged walking and standing throughout scheduled shifts. \nFrequently use computers, handheld devices, and standard office equipment while sitting, standing, speaking, hearing, and performing repetitive hand motions. \nReaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision requirements. \nLifting and moving items up to 50 lbs. \nRequires close vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and ability to hear and see safety alarms and PIT warning devices. \nComfortable operating power equipment at elevations up to 50 ft. \nWhat We Can Offer You\nJoin a team where work is as rewarding as it is fun!
