The Tech Manager ensures teams build high-quality, reliable data pipelines and solutions that meet the evolving needs of analytics, data science, and business operations. This role establishes engineering best practices, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and drives outcomes that enhance data accessibility, integrity, and innovation across the organization.\nWhat You Will Do\nHire, mentor, and coach engineering talent to build strong, high-performing teams.\nGuide teams to align architectures, standards, and technical strategies with enterprise frameworks.\nCultivate a collaborative, product-focused engineering culture grounded in Agile practices.\nDefine priorities, strategies, and delivery approaches across assigned data engineering portfolios or domains.\nOversee the execution of data pipelines, integrations, ETL processes, and data quality frameworks.\nEnsure compliance with data governance standards and enterprise architecture guidelines.\nFoster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities. \nIn addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.\nSkills You Will Need\nProgramming & Data Tools: Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern ETL/ELT frameworks to build scalable and reliable data solutions.\nTechnical Leadership: Ability to guide engineering direction, elevate team performance, and foster cross-functional alignment.\nStakeholder Management: Skilled at communicating complex technical concepts clearly to business partners and senior leadership.\nStrategic Thinking: Ability to prioritize and execute initiatives that advance enterprise technology and business objectives.\nAgile Delivery: Experienced in applying Agile methodologies to drive iterative development, transparency, and predictable outcomes.\nInnovation & Continuous Learning: Demonstrates curiosity for emerging technologies and inspires teams to adopt innovative approaches.\nData Governance & Compliance: Ensures adherence to data governance standards and enterprise architecture guidelines while maintaining high-quality pipelines.\nCollaboration & Culture: Cultivates a collaborative, product-focused engineering culture that supports high-performing teams.\nWho You Are\nCandidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.\n8+ years of experience building comprehensive cloud-based data pipelines in a large organization. 2+ years leading cross-functional projects.\nThis role involves performing essential job functions such as communication, collaboration, and use of office and computer systems.
