You'll work closely with the founders and Product leadership to shape the engineering strategy behind one of the most advanced platforms for autonomous AI employees.\n\nLeadSeniorAgentic Systems KnowledgeCustomer-Facing SaaS Background What you will do:\nGrow the team from 45 → 100+ engineers.\nHire, coach, and develop the engineering management layer.\nStructure the organization and architect the platform for hypergrowth.\nEstablish a predictable SDLC.\nPartner closely with Product Management to deliver the most impactful business outcomes in priority order.\nSet quality standards and SLAs.\nScale production capacity so it never bottlenecks growth.\nOwn FinOps and vendor management.\nRefine career ladders and the hiring process.\n Requirements:\n10+ years of engineering management experience.\nExperience leading teams of 30+.\nExperience with high-scale software development and operations.\nExperience leading engineering teams on customer-facing SaaS.\nStrong knowledge of agentic systems (even without production experience).\nStrong software architecture skills.\nEnglish and Russian at B2+: excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.\nLocation: any, except Russia and Belarus.\nStartup experience.\n Additional experience we value:\nA track record of scaling an engineering organization from ~40 to 150 people as a VP of Engineering or CTO.\nA background in AI/ML, voice, or real-time systems.\nA track record of building high-scale software in a public cloud.\nA background in zero-to-one organization building and rapid decision-making.\n It will be a plus:\nA clear and empathetic leadership style.\nThe ability to handle disagreements constructively and keep discussions focused on solutions.\nMotivation to help build and scale an advanced AI company.\nWhy join us:\nAt Mad Devs, you will join a company that values creativity, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement.
