This role will play a key part in ensuring timely execution of production orders, maintaining quality standards, and supporting high-volume programs across mass-market retail and licensed apparel.\nThe ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong follow-up skills, and is comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.\nKey Responsibilities\nProduction Coordination\nSupport the day-to-day management of domestic production orders from order enquiry through final delivery. \nTrack production timelines to ensure on-time delivery including all components required for a timely completion.\nMaintain and update WIP (Work in Progress) reports and production trackers. \nCoordinate sample flow, approvals (proto, SMS, TOP), and production milestones. \nKeeping costs low and finding cost saving opportunities in the day to day functions.\nVendor & Factory Communication\nCommunicate daily with domestic vendors and factories to monitor order status and resolve issues. \nAssist in managing relationships with local manufacturers to ensure quality, compliance, and on-time performance. \nFollow up on purchase orders, production updates, and shipping schedules. \nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Licensing teams separations teams to trouble shoot art issues. Good understanding on screen printing and separations is required in this role.\nSupport Sales and Planning teams by providing production updates and delivery visibility. \nCoordinate with Compliance teams to ensure all production meets company and retailer’s standards. \nData & Reporting\nMaintain accurate production data in internal systems (ERP/WIP trackers). \nGenerate reports on production status, delivery timelines, and vendor performance. \nAssist in identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce delays. \nQualifications\n3-6 years of experience in production management or sourcing (apparel industry is a must). \nExperience working with domestic production and local vendors in Canada is an asset.\nStrong understanding of production calendars, garment construction, and manufacturing processes.\nHighly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. \nExcellent communication and follow-up skills. \nProficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems. \nAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. \nAbility to visit printing partners for inspection, production planning is required.\nKey Competencies\nOrganization & Time Management \nAttention to Detail \nCommunication & Follow-Up \nProblem-Solving \nTeam Collaboration \nAdaptability\nBenefits:\nCasual Dress\nDental Care & Extended Health Care\nPaid Time Off\nRRSP Match\nVision Care\nAbility to Commute/Relocate:\nEtobicoke, ON: reliability commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)\nTemporary Position with Potential for Permanent Employment\nThis is a temporary position expected to last approximately 12months, providing coverage during a maternity leave.
