You'll work hand in hand with the Senior People & Talent Partner in Paris and the Junior HR Generalist, across both studios.\nMadbox is shaped around four core values: Casual, Mad, Thoughtful, Transparent. This is an HR Lead role where recruitment comes first in terms of time, but the people side runs through everything. We're looking for strong recruiting skills and someone who genuinely shares those values.\nHiring volume varies from year to year, but the standard doesn't: we look for people who recognize themselves in those values and in what drives us all - making millions of players smile.\nYour future responsibilities and scope:\nRun full-cycle recruitment across the studios, partnering with hiring managers from intake to offer (roles shared across the team by priority/location)\n\nBuild and maintain a strong pipeline, grounded in market intelligence, salary benchmarks, and real knowledge of the games/tech industry\n\nOwn and improve ATS workflows, candidate experience, and recruiting metrics\n\nRepresent Madbox externally: schools, universities, hiring and campus events\n\nBe the go-to HR partner in Barcelona: approachable, trusted, and hands-on with day-to-day topics, with the backing of the wider HR team\n\nCoach and support managers on recruitment best practices and day-to-day HR policies and tools\n\nShape studio life in Barcelona through local events and rituals that make it a place people want to be\n\nContribute to HR team initiatives on engagement, well-being, and inclusion\n\nManage HR operations for Barcelona and the Spanish entity: onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and records\n\nAutomate manual steps in recruitment and HR workflows, and contribute to the AI-powered tools the HR team builds\n\nThe profile we are looking for:\nYou have solid full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally in tech or gaming\n\nYou've worked on HR topics beyond recruitment, and you enjoy that side of the job as much as the hiring side\n\nYou're comfortable being the only HR person in the studio: autonomous, organized, and able to prioritize your workload\n\nYou're approachable, people trust you, and you know when to raise something\n\nFamiliarity with Spanish labour law and local HR practices\n\nYou're fluent in Spanish and English\n\nYou use AI tools daily, and you're curious about enhancing workflow and processes\n\nYou care about the games and the players, and you want the people you hire to feel the same\n\nAt Madbox, we value the mindset and how you can fit with our culture by sharing common values and creating great games together. \nWe are passionate, always pushing to the next level to learn new things.
