But if you don’t have some of the skills and experience listed below, don’t let that stop you from applying!\nEngineering and Data Engineering\nHands-on Python experience\nKnowledge of cloud infrastructure like AWS, GCP or Azure\nHave used version control systems, specifically Git or similar tools\nUnderstanding of TDD and diverse testing methodologies, such as data quality, integration, and unit testing\nUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines to maintain code quality and facilitate deployments\nKnowledge of Data Engineering fundamentals, including Batch processing and ETL/ELT\nBasic understanding of various data architectures, such as Lakes and Warehouses\nKnowledge of data cleansing and transformation within unified, standardised schemas\nBasic SQL \nDevOps and DataOps\nAwareness of IaC tools, particularly Terraform \nKnowledge of basic logging and monitoring practice\nKnowledge of basic access controls, policies and approaches particularly on Cloud services \nConsultancy Skills\nEnthusiasm for learning and self-development and sharing that within a team and organisation \nGood communication skills\nShowcasing and presentation skills\nDesire to work in a cross functional team environment \nA desire to understand client needs and requirements \nDesirable experience\nExperience in the following things isn’t essential, but it’s highly desirable!\nWorking at a technology consultancy\nWorking with data scientists to productionise advanced data deliverables, such as machine learning models\nWorking within the public sector\nExperience of working in Agile practices such as Scrum, XP, and/or Kanban\nAt this point, we hope you're feeling excited about Made Tech and the job opportunity.
