This includes building structured reasoning frameworks, retrieval pipelines, evaluation layers, and ensuring enterprise-grade safety, auditability, and reliability.\nResponsibilities\nDesign advanced prompt architectures and behavioural frameworks for Copilot\nBuild persona logic, agent roles, and structured conversational flows\nDevelop retrieval pipelines integrating Data Lake, Knowledge Graphs and internal APIs\nImplement enterprise-grade RAG patterns with strong factual grounding and compliance\nCreate evaluation chains, deterministic rules and quality gates for sensitive workflows\nOptimise agent outputs for accuracy, reliability, explainability, and traceability\nTranslate business policies and workflows into structured agent behaviour\nCollaborate with engineering, platform, data, and business teams across workstreams\nEnsure the Copilot meets strict audit, governance, and safety requirements\nBuild agent logic and orchestration flows using Python or TypeScript\nRequirements\n4-6 years of experience in AI or backend engineering\nHands-on experience building LLM-powered agents (RAG, prompt engineering, orchestration)\nStrong understanding of vector search, chunking strategies, embeddings and context optimisation\nAbility to convert business logic into deterministic rules and reasoning structures\nExperience with Copilot Studio, LangChain, Semantic Kernel or similar agent frameworks\nFamiliarity with prompt lifecycle management and output evaluation\nExperience working in regulated environments where accuracy and compliance are critical\nStrong technical experience with:\nAzure OpenAI / GPT models\nVector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, Azure Cognitive Search)\nKnowledge graphs and structured domain modelling\nAPI orchestration and messaging layers\nProficiency in Python or TypeScript\nCertifications such as:\nMicrosoft Azure AI Engineer / Azure Data Fundamentals\nGenerative AI or Applied AI Engineering foundations\nNice to have\nAzure OpenAI Specialisation\nExposure to knowledge engineering or ontology design\nAdditional cloud certifications\nExperience with evaluation tooling (LangSmith, TruLens,
