The role focuses on preparing and executing functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests, validating business requirements, analysing application logs, APIs, and data flows, and identifying defects across interconnected systems. The consultants will work closely with Developers, Analysts, and other Testers to verify system functionality, document test results, retest fixes, and ensure the reliability and quality of applications throughout the software delivery lifecycle.\nResponsibilities\nPrepare and execute manual test cases and scenarios\nPerform functional testing of applications and systems\nExecute regression tests after changes and releases\nPerform integration and end-to-end testing\nVerify business requirements against implemented functionality\nAnalyse test results and identify defects\nRegister and document defects in the test management system\nRetest fixes delivered by developers\nPrepare and maintain test data\nAnalyse application logs and system messages\nVerify incoming and outgoing data between integrated systems\nCheck files, data streams and system responses\nDocument test execution and results\nWork with Developers, Analysts and other Testers\nSupport testing activities within Agile teams where applicable\nRequirements\nMinimum 3 years commercial manual software testing experience\nExperience preparing and executing test cases\nFunctional testing\nRegression testing\nIntegration testing\nEnd-to-end testing\nExperience identifying, reporting and retesting defects\nUnderstanding of software development and testing processes\nAbility to analyse requirements and technical documentation\nExperience with test management and defect tracking tools\nBasic SQL knowledge\nUnderstanding of APIs and system integrations\nGood analytical and communication skills\nAbility to work independently in a remote environment\nNice to have\nTelecommunications experience\nBilling systems experience\nBanking or other complex enterprise systems\nALM
