You will focus on system administration, optimisation and incident resolution for middleware and database-backed services supporting critical financial workloads.\nWhat you will do\nDeploy, configure and maintain WebLogic middleware and Linux application servers\n\nPerform routine database support tasks and optimise SQL queries against Oracle databases\n\nManage application lifecycle tasks: patching, releases, configuration changes, rollback plans\n\nMonitor systems, investigate alerts, troubleshoot incidents and apply fixes or escalate appropriately\n\nMaintain runbooks, SOPs and technical documentation for operational procedures\n\nAutomate tasks using Bash/Python scripting and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform where applicable)\n\nSupport backup, restore and disaster recovery procedures, including DR drills\n\nManage certificates, keys and basic network configurations\n\nCollaborate with developers, DBAs, network and security teams on cross-domain issues\n\nParticipate in on-call rota and occasional out-of-hours maintenance windows\n\nContribute to performance tuning and capacity planning\n\nRequirements\n2-3 years’ experience administering applications or databases in production environments\n\nHands-on experience with WebLogic administration (installation, domain management, tuning)\n\nStrong Linux (Red Hat/CentOS/Oracle Linux) skills -
