This role drives equipment reliability, tooling performance, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives in a high-volume aluminum die casting and machining environment.\nThe Technical Services Manager provides leadership to maintenance technicians, die repair personnel, process engineers, automation resources, and technical support teams while ensuring manufacturing assets operate at peak efficiency and reliability.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\n· Lead all preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.\n· Develop and execute maintenance strategies that maximize equipment uptime and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).\n· Ensure rapid response to equipment failures while driving permanent corrective actions.\n· Drive reliability-centered maintenance practices throughout the organization.\n· Establish preventative maintenance programs for die casting dies and tooling.\n· Prioritize die repair activities to support production schedules and customer demand.\n· Monitor die life, repair costs, tooling performance, and downtime attributable to tooling issues.\n· Drive process optimization efforts focused on quality, productivity, scrap reduction, and cost improvement.\n· Support new product launches, tooling implementations, and equipment installations.\n· Develop and maintain process standards, work instructions, and engineering documentation.\n· Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.\n· Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nHeavy Manufacturing Environment. MKC houses different machinery, equipment, processes, and chemicals which produce potential hazards in the work environment such as: ergonomic, chemical, machine point of operation, and powered industrial vehicle traffic. These hazards are controlled through means of engineering controls, such as machine guarding, and administrative controls, such as safety policies and programs. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to noisy. In certain areas of the facility, employees are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as Hearing Protection, Safety Glasses, Safety Toe Shoes, and hand protection.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand, stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. substituted on an equivalent basis.\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.\nMinimum 3-5 years manufacturing leadership experience.\nExperience in high-volume manufacturing required.\nExperience in aluminum die casting, machining, automation, or automotive manufacturing strongly preferred.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nAbility to read, write, and understand English.\nProficient written and verbal communication skills.\nJOB SKILLS\nStrong understanding of die casting equipment, tooling systems, robotics, and manufacturing processes.\nKnowledge of TPM, predictive maintenance, reliability engineering, and preventive maintenance systems.\nStrong problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.\nExperience managing capital projects and technical budgets.\nProficiency with ERP, CMMS, and manufacturing reporting systems.\nTRAVEL REQUIREMENT\nLess than
