Our extensive experience, connections, and deep expertise across different sectors, industries, and transportation modes, means we can be counted on for process excellence that will save time and money.\nSummary:\nThe Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring day-to-day warehouse, transportation, and distribution activities are executed accurately and efficiently. This role coordinates closely with customers, warehouse teams, service providers, and internal stakeholders to manage shipments, scheduling, documentation, billing, workflow, and service requirements while quickly addressing operational issues or customer concerns. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and customer-focused, with strong communication and problem-solving skills and previous experience in supply chain, transportation, or distribution. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, build strong customer relationships, monitor KPIs and account activity, and identify solutions that support service quality, operational efficiency, and continued business growth.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nServe as the key point of contact with the customer.\nSpeak with customers by phone or in person and receive instructions for shipment, storage, delivery, or general processing.\nCoordinates with warehouse personnel to oversee incoming and outgoing account activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.\nError and complaint resolution.\nProjects changes in account activity and plans labor requirements accordingly. \nSubmits written and/or verbal reports on activity and projected labor expenses.\nData entry, including inbound and outbound schedule development and creation.\nCoordinate billing and special requirements as needed.\nCoordinate the administration and paper flow of required documents to the dock operations.\nCommunicate with internal and external customers.\nMaintain and assign workflow to dock operations.\nHandle, coordinate, and follow up on all special projects.\nFollow up on all past-due monies related to the account.\nPrepare daily and monthly KPI reports.\nTrain new office associates.\nProcess shipments via customer portals.\nUpdate and manage proof of delivery; prepare files for billing.\nCommunicate with Management any concerns and/or issues that may impact the company.\nCommunicate with Management any ideas and solutions that may benefit the company.\nQualifications:\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.\nPrevious experience in supply chain, transportation, or distribution required.\nAbility to establish and maintain effective relationships with management staff, employees, and service providers.\nExceptional problem-solving skills and proven experience in relationship management through business change and growth.\nStrong analytical and organizational skills.\nExtremely proficient with MS Office programs and strong overall system skills (YMS, TMS, WMS).\nEducation or Experience:\nBachelor's degree (B.
