Together, let's sail towards a brighter, more sustainable future with Maersk.\nThe Opportunity\nAre you a motivated, organised individual seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced commercial environment?\nWould you enjoy being part of a dedicated team that helps drive business growth, support strategic customer opportunities, and position Maersk as a market leader through innovative branding and marketing initiatives?\nIf you're looking for a role that combines business development, market intelligence, content creation, and commercial support, then we'd love to hear from you.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nAs a Business Development Support Manager you will play a critical role in supporting our commercial growth ambitions, providing end-to-end bid support, market analysis, branding activities, and marketing content that helps differentiate Maersk in the marketplace.\nKey responsibilities include:\nBusiness Development Support\nComplete research projects into customers, sectors, market trends, and growth opportunities, supporting the strategic agenda and preparing the team to win.\nManage end-to-end internal sales and governance processes from initial opportunity identification through to customer contracting.\nSupport Business Development Managers throughout the sales lifecycle, ensuring opportunities progress efficiently and effectively.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams to gather information, develop solutions, and complete customer proposals and tender submissions.\nLead the completion and maintenance of commercial systems including Salesforce, Investment Proposals, account plans, and opportunity tracking.\nSupport customer retention activities, sales-led renewals, and strategic growth initiatives.\nBranding & Marketing\nSupport the development and execution of branding initiatives that strengthen Maersk's market presence and customer value proposition.\nCreate engaging content for internal and external communication channels, including social media, customer presentations, case studies, newsletters, and marketing campaigns.\nCollaborate with Marketing, Communications, Sales, and Operations teams to develop targeted campaigns that generate awareness and support business growth.\nMaintain and update business development collateral, ensuring all customer-facing materials align with Maersk brand guidelines.\nPromote customer success stories, service innovations, industry insights, and key business achievements through digital and social media channels.\nAssist in the planning and delivery of customer events, industry exhibitions, networking opportunities, and business development activities.\nMonitor competitor activity, market trends, and industry developments, providing insights to support commercial strategy and decision-making.\nContent & Communications\nDevelop high-quality presentations, proposals, and commercial documents to support customer engagements.\nProduce compelling content that enhances customer engagement and supports lead generation activities.\nEnsure consistency of messaging across all communication channels and customer interactions.\nSupport thought leadership activities through content creation and market-focused communications.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential\nMinimum 2 years' operational experience within Contract Logistics.\nSupply Chain experience.\nStrong organisational and project management skills.\nExcellent attention to detail.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nPositive, proactive, and solution-focused attitude.\nDesirable\nExperience in a customer-facing role.\nBusiness Development or Sales experience.\nExperience creating business content, presentations, or marketing materials.\nUnderstanding of social media platforms and digital marketing principles.\nExperience supporting branding, communications, or marketing initiatives.\nKnowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.\nWhat We Offer\nAt Maersk, you'll be part of a global organisation committed to developing talent, fostering innovation, and creating opportunities for career growth.
