The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws\nShifts: Monday - Friday 4am start and Monday - Friday 11pm start \nPosition Summary\nThe OTR Day Cab Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of freight between Maersk terminals The driver operates a day cab tractor, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations, company safety standards, and Maersk service expectations.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate a day cab tractor to transport freight safely and efficiently over assigned routes.\nConduct pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route vehicle inspections and accurately complete required documentation.\nEnsure compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company safety policies.\nVerify trailer, container, seal, and load information before movement.\nCommunicate effectively with dispatch, operations teams, customers, and terminal personnel regarding load status and potential delays.\nMaintain electronic logs and transportation records as required.\nReport equipment defects, accidents, incidents, and safety concerns promptly.\nMaintain a clean and professional appearance of assigned equipment.\nFollow all yard, terminal, customer, and facility operating procedures.\nQualifications\nValid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).\nCurrent DOT Medical Card.\nMinimum 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience (preferred).\nClean driving record with acceptable MVR.\nAbility to pass DOT drug screening and background checks.\nKnowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.\nAbility to operate electronic logging devices (ELDs) and transportation management systems.\nMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
