This integrated network will service multi-channels like B2B, B2C, B2B2C, e-commerce, direct to store, dropship, returns, and more, leveraging asset-based, asset-light, and non-asset models.\nWe are seeking a Dispatcher in Tracy, CA!\n11am-7:30pm Monday-Friday\nJOB SUMMARY:\nDirectly in charge of scheduling drivers to make deliveries and pick up packages from customers and vendors. Also work as a liaison between customers, drivers, and management.\nEssential Functions:\nScheduling drivers to make freight delivery or collect shipments and packages\n\nCommunicating with customers and vendors about freight details, pickup and drop-off times, and special requests\n\nPlanning predetermined routes for drivers\n\nIdentifying traffic problems and issues and creating appropriate corrective action plans to achieve desirable results on time.\n\nPreparing general dispatch documents for management, as well as pulling any documents that employees, customers, or vendors will need\n\nMaintain a record of all dispatch calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pick-up times\n\nMonitoring truck repairs and maintenance schedules\n\nLogging vendor complaints or concerns\n\nAnswering phone calls from vendors, customers, and management and helping them as needed.\n\nOther duties as requested\n\nSKILLS/COMPETENCIES:\nStrong aptitude for time management\n\nExcellent understanding of local and state traffic laws and regulations\n\nAbility to make quick changes in routing\n\nStrong interpersonal skills\n\nAbility to prioritize and multitask\n\nDeep understanding of computer software and technologies\n\nAble to read, write and speak English\n\nEXPERIENCE:\n2-3 years of freight dispatching experience\n\nCompany Benefits:\nMedical\nDental\nVision\n401k + Company Match\nEmployee Assistance Program\nPaid Time Off\nFlexible Work Schedules (when possible)\nAnd more!\nPay Range:\n$22-$23.50 per hour\n*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position.
