Our extensive experience, connections, and deep expertise across different sectors, industries, and transportation modes, means we can be counted on for process excellence that will save time and money.\n\nJob Description\n#INDEED\nShift: First Shift\nHours: 8:00am-5:00pm\nMonday-Friday\nJob Summary\nThe Driver Helper is responsible for assisting the driver with day-to-day delivery and operational activities. This includes loading and unloading the truck, handling and verifying freight, supporting route execution, and completing other duties needed to provide safe and efficient service.\nKey Responsibilities\nAccurately load and secure freight for daily delivery routes. \nScan and verify all route freight before departure. \nAssist drivers with route navigation and delivery coordination. \nHelp transport freight to customer business and residential locations. \nPull, stage, load, and unload freight using manifests and established operating procedures. \nPerform material-handling duties, including picking, packing, scanning, kitting, and inventory counts. \nIdentify and report overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D). \nSafely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, when trained and authorized. \nFollow detailed work instructions in a fast-paced environment. \nMaintain compliance with TSA, OSHA, company safety requirements, and customer-site rules. \nProvide professional customer service and perform additional duties as assigned. \nQualifications & Skills\nAbility to read maps and maintain general geographic awareness. \nAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted. \nStrong customer service and communication skills. \nAbility to work overtime and flexible schedules when required. \nAbility to read, understand, and follow written instructions. \nStrong attention to detail and accuracy. \nAbility to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision. \nMust be able to speak, read, and write in English. \nPhysical Requirements\nThis position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday. Employees must be able to regularly lift and move products weighing up to 75 lbs. unassisted and safely operate material-handling equipment as required.\nSafety Expectations\nEmployees are expected to comply with all company safety policies, applicable DOT requirements, OSHA standards, TSA requirements where applicable, and customer-site safety rules.
