Play a vital role in driving global trade forward every day!\nKey Responsibilities\nFinance Operations & Performance Management\nOwn and oversee financial operations ensuring timely and accurate service delivery in line with global and local standards.\n\nDrive cost accuracy and strong financial controls ensuring correct estimations job costing and reporting.\n\nTake full accountability for financial performance management KPIs and service controls.\n\nEnsure accurate and timely reporting of business results.\n\nLeadership & Team Management\nDirectly lead a team ensuring strong performance task followup and engagement.\n\nAct as an active mentor pushing team members to excel and fostering professional growth.\n\nProvide leadership beyond direct reports by collaborating with other finance teams to maintain accurate financial reporting.\n\nOwn the financial performance of the country ensuring figures are reported correctly and on time.\n\nProcess Improvement & Stakeholder Management\nIdentify and implement process improvements automation opportunities and capacity optimizations.\n\nManage multiple stakeholders across different countries seniority levels and functions.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Agile methodologies and project management experience.\n\nEnsure compliance with internal audits owning mitigation measures and corrective actions.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business or a related field.\n\nMinimum 23 years of leadership experience directly managing teams.\n\nStrong background in financial operations within supply chain retail or shipping industries.\n\nHandson experience in project management process improvement or Agile methodologies (a plus.\n\nTechnical Skills:\nStrong financial acumen with expertise in Excel (formulas data analysis financial reporting).\n\nSAP experience is a must; proficiency in other ERP systems is a plus.\n\nSoft Skills & Competencies:\nStrong stakeholder management skills handling diverse seniorities and functions across multiple countries.\n\nHighly structured analytical and detailoriented.\n\nProven ability to drive engagement mentor team members and ensure task followup.\n\nFluent in English (a must); Arabic as a mother tongue.\n\nIf you are a strong structured leader with financial expertise and the ability to manage global stakeholders we invite you to apply and be part of our journey!\n#LIhybrid\n#LIAR1\nMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace and we embrace different styles of thinking.
