The role involves leading a team of floor associates, managing workflow on the warehouse floor, ensuring accuracy, productivity, and quality standards, and acting as a key point of communication between warehouse staff and management. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in logistics or warehousing operations with strong organizational and leadership skills.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupervise outbound floor operations including picking, packing, labelling, and data entry activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.\nCoordinate daily work plans and assignments for the floor team to meet production schedules and customer shipment deadlines.\n Ensure accurate data entry related to order processing, shipment documentation, and inventory movement using warehouse management systems (WMS) or other relevant software.\nOversee the preparation, verification, and completion of outbound orders, ensuring all items are correctly picked, packed, wrapped, and labelled according to customer and company standards.\nMonitor and maintain inventory accuracy in the outbound area; report discrepancies or damages promptly to inventory control teams for resolution.\nCollaborate closely with inbound, inventory control, and returns teams to optimize labor utilization and warehouse space.\nEnforce adherence to safety guidelines, company policies, and quality standards on the warehouse floor.\nAssist with training and onboarding of new floor staff to ensure familiarity with operational procedures and safety practices.\nTrack and report daily metrics such as order volumes, productivity, quality issues, and labor utilization to warehouse management.\nParticipate in cycle counts and physical inventories as needed to help maintain stock accuracy.\nMaintain communication with site management and stakeholders regarding operational status, issues, and resource needs.\nQualifications:\nMinimum 2-5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in outbound or fulfilment roles.\nPrior experience supervising or leading a team in a warehouse setting is highly desirable.\nStrong working knowledge of warehouse operations such as picking, packing, shipping, and data entry.\nProficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control software, and basic computer skills for data entry.\nAbility to read and interpret shipping documents, bills of lading (BOL), and inventory reports.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment.\nCapable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.\nBasic knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and a commitment to enforcing safety compliance.\nFlexibility to work various shifts or extended hours as required to meet operational demands.\nPreferred Skills:\nHands-on experience with RF scanning devices, barcode technology, and related warehouse automation tools.\nFamiliarity with logistics/Supply Chain processes and terminology.\nStrong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.\nPrior exposure to 3PL warehouse environments or multi-client logistics operations.\nMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
